As for those who wondered what counts as damage, any unavoidable damage can be taken and obviously scripted cutscene segments don't count. Using glitches to avoid damage also voids the run of course as I meant for it to be glitchless as I mentioned.

yeah of course I understand. Thank you for your response. I just thought it might be cool to see more runs like this as my runs seem to be the first runs of their kind to be uploaded. Perhaps some other kind of no damage insane category could be added that doesn't require 100% completion.

I had a new category idea that requires glitchless completion of the game with all collectibles obtained with only one battery used while on insane difficulty without taking any damage. I have a run uploaded under these conditions that is not intended to be a speedrun. However, as its the only run of its kind, I'm now curious to see how this idea could evolve as its own category in the game as it requires further knowledge of the game in order to pursue a run of this caliber. As I mentioned, I already have a run of this kind uploaded In both commentary and non commentary format. I feel this would also be a good category for outlast 2 as well. its the ps4 wr. he uses it in the basement on administration block and once again on underground lab

i don't know if or if not i am allowed to submit a run into the glitchless category that involves me skipping animations via crouching. the rules tab confuses me and when ever i check other players runs to see what they do, i see some utilising it and other runners that do not. also, am i allowed to jump over the falling floor in the female ward before it brakes and submit it as a glitchless run?
