So.. Introductions... My name is TheGlitched64 and I run... well... fuck... what don't I run? Just quickly scroll down my page you'll see what I mean. I have been actively speedrunning for about... 3-4 months and have since taken to running all sorts of games. Including moderating a few. [By the way... if people wanna run THOTHD: Overkill, Pokemon Rumble World, Super Smash land or the Duck life series... I moderate those and verify runs on the day and am easy going and all that stuff.]
Honestly just trying to get my name out into the community and hoping to get to talk to other runners in games I run or am interested in... which is like 95% Nintendo but I digress...
and yeah... that's it... Time to pass out drunk again! Huzzah!
I was thinking that, since all the times are under Level leaderboards for now, that maybe we could add a "All 4 duck type" run board as the full game leaderboard? Or at the very least, a Misc. Category?
EDIT: I noticed that maybe that is what the 100% run might mean, but it is under all 4 different duck types... Would need to know what qualified as any% and 100% first though. :)
I'm glad to see that someone put the 3DS game on here. It might be absolute hell to add, I know, but was wondering if it would be possible to have Individual times on here for the individual challenges/levels. [e.g. Legend of Zelda stage 2 or Kirby's Adventure Stage 5]
So, as of right now, any IL can be screencap/picture proof and all the Full game stuff needs video. Thinking that Hard mode Balloon levels should be video proof, since no way to tell if all Pokemon were defeated by a screencap. I dunno, what do people think? Want others opinions first.
So, From now on I would like runs to have video proof. Since runs take under 15 minutes, I found a great little [absolutely FREE] program to record with. Easy to use with the game. Runs without video that were already verified WILL STAY on the board though. http://screencast-o-matic.com/
So, I requested Pokemon World Rumble and was very sure to un-check the "Series Mods have power" so they did not. I put some work into the games page and then went to bed. Woke up with the series mods there, I was Demoted from Super mod to mod, and the option is gone. What is the point of this option when it holds no real power at all? And why was I demoted from my own requested game?
If the series mods came to me somehow and asked me to reverse this, I would be more that happy to but, come on, this is kinda ridiculous.
I was going to add in the level leaderboard, all the different places you can go on the different balloons to catch pokemon. With this leaderboard, maybe you could get something out of going to a place you already have all the pokemon at? if anyone shows interest in these levels being added, I will throw them up there, and would run it as well.
Rules for story mode:
- Select new game and enter your name. Timer starts when you enter your profile the second time.
- You can upgrade guns as you play, but can not start with them all at max. [Hence the New Game rule]
- Cut scenes and load times are added to the time.
- Timer ends when you get the final hit on Mother. Now... where's my fucking medicine Clement?
So I made a post before asking about "Single segment." What I meant, was single level... and yes... I know I look foolish... but I have been doing some IL runs and figured, hey, why not get a leaderboard going for it?
Some people might be confused how we would do level 2 onward and thee rule myself and another runner on the SDA forum made was that you could grab all the coins you want on level 1, save, and then start level 2 fresh, but with all coins and, if you want, all level 1 cars unlocked. However, you cannot have anything already unlocked or done in level 2. Fresh new level.
Here are my runs for all mission and 100% level 1, and 100% level 2 for those wondering. Again, please let me know! :)
