Apparently you can do the cutscene skip with a controller holding down the A and B buttons similar to the keyboard method. It does however feel like the timing is a little tighter but does work on switch with both a pro controller and joycons. Tested it on steam with an xbox series x controller and it also worked just with slightly tighter timing. Kinda neat
