There's something I've been thinking about for a while and I wanted to share it. Right now we are accepting screenshots as proof of a pb or a WR. Which is basically fine.

If we have a track time, the best imho would be a picture of the endscreen after the run, where the run time can be seen (the one with all three laps or the one where it's compared with the ghost). If it's a lap time it obviously has to be a shot where the lap time can be seen (a shot taken during the run or a shot of the endscreen with all three laps). these screenshots are totally fine.

what could be a little "tricky" is, when the ingame "best times" pages are submitted as proof. we have always accepted these. but I feel like we shouldn't do that anymore. or at least we should be careful with these. and here's the reason:

when running the Pro championships the car gets a speed boost when it's on last place. the boost makes the car a lot faster. so if you wait like 1 or 2 minutes at the start of a track and fall back on last place, you can basically run the last two laps with a significantly higher speed. all of this is very fun and feels great (just try it, if you didn't know it, it's awesome). but there's one thing: the lap times you get during such runs - and you can get lap records - are saved in your "best times".

here's an example:

The lap time 35.86 was gotten with the speed boost. and it can be seen on the ingame "best times" page. this means "best times" pages can be "corrupted" and aren't always reliable.

I don't know if you could really benefit from the boost on every track (I just tried Snake Island). And I'm really not someone who wants to ban or forbid things. Just wanted to point this out.

Cheers to everyone!

Sup guys,

looking through the leaderboard I just realized that some times aren't listed correctly. For example when the game shows the time 1:40:02 it should be 1 minute 40 seconds 020 ms (and not 002 ms). The game only counts the first two digits and never the third of the ms. This actually does a big difference especially when the times are at the top of the leaderboard. So here are the times. I don't know how they could be corrected. Maybe a mod can change them?

Goldrush Track: 1st (Waluigi) should be 1m 08s 060ms (and not 006ms) 2nd (DenEJuAvStenJu) should be 1m 08s 400ms (and not 040ms)

Snake Island Track: 2nd (nukecorruption) should be 1m 53s 910ms (and not 091ms)

Yodel Peaks Track: 1st (Waluigi) should be 2m 13s 290ms (and not 029ms) 4th (BProd) should be 2m 20s 140ms (and not 014ms)

Yodel Peaks Lap: 3rd (BProd) should be 45s 350 ms (and not 035ms)

Cape Thor Track: 1st (Waluigi) should be 1m 47s 710ms (and not 071ms)

Tokyo Bullet Track: 1st (Waluigi) should be 1m 59s 190ms (and not 019ms)

Tokyo Bullet Lap: 1st (Waluigi) should be 34s 320ms (and not 032ms)

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. But I think we should handle this carefully, as this can "decide" if a run is listed as a WR or not.

Take care everyone

Sup guys,

I've been running Cape Thor lately. In the description of the lap WR Gnobel says he "flew over the lake and skipped the U-turn"...has anyone ever done this? Or is there a video that shows the skip?

I tried for some time but never got over the lake. I don't even know where to do it. There seems to be a point at the end of the first section, like a small hill at the wall and just before the left turn, that you could use to jump, but it never worked.

Anyone any idea?
