you can not save a framerule over current wr just by doing a faster or no setup. you would have to somehow save 20 frames. you can save 3 from dfa at the start, that's it. the only timesave is ffpg. while it is slower, it is exactly 0.4 frames slower, not even half a frame.

iirc you can save a frame on 8-4 block climb

Is it possible to clip in the ground in 8-4 and do a wrong warp at the start of the level just like aisson? In theory it would work but i'm not sure.

Are there ary good splits you can download that work on mac? The only good one i know of is livesplit and its windows only.

the only way a 4:53 will happen is if a big time save in 1-1 is found.
