I kinda agree with @NuZ just i wouldn't put a category with pieces, just because it's part of the any% assisted. You can take rocket launcher only to be faster on box and no need to get more inventory spaces. Or get 2 pieces of attack to get Nemesis 2 in 3 rockets instead of 4, health/guide for safer runs etc.. I don't think it needs a category itself. Other than that i totally agree, 60fps will have huge ton of runners and 120 will get best times.

Agreed , it's a mess when there're too many categories for any%. I think we could at least do 2 leader boards. And it should be 30 fps and 60fps or 60fps and 120fps. I would prefer the 30/60 just because we would get more runners, more streams, more epic moments, more discoveries etc.. And like many said, the difference is only on cinematics , the route will be the same so i prefer having more runners with little bit worse time than less runners with better times.

I don't even know, because maybe i'm wrong and the vast majority can't record a good looking game above 30fps, we really have to question ourselves on what we want for this game. Personnally i want a lot LOT of runners since it's the best way to have a living community, and more chance to find new skips and new technics. I think the main category should be either 30 or 60fps. And higher framerate as side category where we just want the best time ever possible for the game (why not an unlimited fps side category where expensive setups can produce runs 5min under the main category, litterally breaking the limits of the game).

I want a huge community for this game since it's really easy and intuitive to run, and probably a lot of new runners that have never speedrun before give it a try with this one.

Many might think 120 is now and 60 is outdated. This. Is. Not. The. Case. Remember that you have to reccord the game, and to make it more attractive you can't lower all graphics and put 50% quality because it looks ugly. You also have to put a high bitrate since camera moves everywhere. I definitly can't record if i don't lower everything to keep my bitrate around 2700 to get a good quality. And even after that my fps still drops to 50 time to time. Like someone said, speedrunning MUST be accessible to everyone. You can't consider taking 120 as a norm since most of us can't play + record/stream at 120fps, and a large majority of us still have 60hz monitors. Don't make this run a pay to win. I want to see the best of us shine no matter the price of his setup.

I really like the idea, but maybe it will be too confusing to have too much FPS categories. 60 is what we usually get on streams/records, so i don't think we need a 60+ category, but i might be wrong since i never tried 120fps with a 144hz monitor.

I just don't really want to see 6 identical (on routing) world records for any% just because of fps that exactly look the same but with seconds of difference

I run the assisted on NG+ and i hope it will be a category since it's a lot of management and route planning. You have to plan what you shoot and what you dodge because some zombies saves you time if you dodge. You can also totally ignore some lickers / hunters. I ended up with a 50:43 and i'm sure more can be done So yeah definitly i want infinite launcher to be allowed

I just did 50:43 on assisted with infinite launcher , i can still save some time since i got grabbed once and hit twice I use auto splits btw
