During animation/cinematic downtime (i.e. diving, rolling, cinematics) you buffer a spin with a 720 analog input then jump and gp inputs.

It would not be a proper thing as different PCs has slightly different but similar loading times, so times without loads would not properly work out.

It's not just about a 5 second save that is completely pointless unless top 10 imo, it is a good controller and suites most people, it's always worth a try, it will most likely be useful for everything on the switch if you don't enjoy it on Odyssey.

Clips aren't a joy-con exclusive exploit, and you don't need to pro controller just to do a little clip, personally I prefer the pro controller for the entire game really, but I have played the game with joy-cons, and when running around and doing clips, I found the pro controller more easy to do the inputs successfully, mainly the bigger buttons helped.

I wouldn't exclude the other platforms obviously, autosplitters move most players that have access to a good computer to do runs on there, it's just a possibility to how the ruleset of "Time with & without loads" would end up, which means Times without loads (autosplitter) would be the official set timing method of the game, Times with loads would be pushed out and we could not do anything about it besides have the console platforms official timing method as Times with loads, which would be unsettling to the leaderboard.

With loading differences since the beginning we've known that PC has the quickest loading times, being ~15-20 seconds faster than PS4 and ~30-40 seconds faster than XboxOne. From different PC runs I don't believe whoever has the best and most powerful PC has the advantage over other PC runners, the load times seem to be extremely similar to each other. Eventually if we get more runs on the leaderboards, because of the loading times' disadvantages on the consoles specifically, we may have to create subcategories for each platform, or if someone is successfully able to create an autosplitter for PC, we would most likely move to PC only, but that won't be happening with the game in the current state.

You need maximum height, jump on the peak of the spring, aim right, neutral capthrow capdive, hold up against building, capthrow stall, wallkick dive onto building.

Okra's commentated tutorial helps a bunch. Your problem seems to being either far off from the right spot on the mound or too close to Bowser, move directly under the hat (preference) or on the upper half of the mound.

Still, we have no purpose in adding it to the leaderboards because some person made a forum just for it, if they want to submit it they can...

Maryland, USATech7 years ago

If they choose to submit it they may, except the beginning where time normally starts has been cutoff so it wouldn't even be valid.

Joy-Con is better for motion control. Pro controller is an actual controller. Overall it's personal preference but most may prefer Pro.

Runs under 1:20:00 do require video evidence, and runs over 1:20:00 don't require video proof but it is most beneficial to showcase PB splits for easier verification, we've tend to ask for splits as proof for 1:20:01-1:20:30 runs around that area, but other than that, no video proof for 1:20:01+ required.

I've fixed up the begin time ruleset to be more formal and easier to understand for all people, apologies for what it was before, Odme just decided to put something down. OpieOP I will say that we have never had a submission where someone tried to bend the rules (only those who did not know of the rules in the first place aka first time runners/blind runs), but I do agree the ruleset had to be reworded.

Get on the hat, you're too far down.

For beginners I'd recommend Samura1man's Any% tutorial, located in the Guides within this board.

Id rather have you take my trophies than for the ILs to be reset. OpieOP

No, Moon Cave is not required for "World Peace" on the moon, it will still be the same as Any%. With the World Peace category of the ILs (Specifically Cap, Cascade, Cloud, Ruined, Bowser's, Moon) since these kingdoms are the same for Any% and World Peace, we cannot take the category off, which if we were able to we would, SRC does not work like that with IL categories, so there is no reason to not accept them, yes I agree as stupid as it is but we cannot take the category off from these specific ILs.

It's not a physical moon sprite.
