This is an informative post for those who have not heard or may be confused about the recent change to Any%.
For anyone that is not in the discord server, there was a change to the Any% category on the leaderboard that had been debated by the community for some time now and finally has come to a conclusion.
Legacy Versions - All versions previous from the current version of the game. (1.0.0/1.0.1(which applies to 1.1.0)/1.1.0) Current Version - Only the current up-to-date version of the game. (1.2.0)
When you go to submit, Legacy Versions should be the defaulted variable for Subcategory (wish there was an option to not have subcategories defaulted), if your run was on 1.2.0, submit it to the Current Subcategory.
Apologizes, when we see someone who submits on the sheet with two runs of the same category, we take the better PB, didn't notice those runs were on 1.0 as your better runs were on 1.2, they will be added shortly.
Although most of the Godzilla boards are inactive, I see potential in other categories with this game especially. There should be an All Challenges category and Challenge ILs, and possibly something to do with Survival mode. I recently have done an attempt of All Challenges and would like to see it on the leaderboard, as well as potentially being moderator to spice this leaderboard up a bit. I mod the Unleashed board and wish to make this leaderboard better and appeal to people who pass by and might want to try this speedgame out.
There is no in-game language switch so nope. Only way is the system settings.
You cant really say "If this... then that" without giving reasons to why you think a category should be added. Star% is completely different to what you call Balloon% and share no similarities. Star% can be finished well before you complete the game, hence Bruncheon, for what you call Balloon%, it would require you to finish the run just to unlock luigi (any% then luigi in mushroom), and now the minigame requires you to connect to online servers which are now paid servers, so no.
Nothing is being ignored, the rules for 2P state that 2P mode must be turned on, there are no exceptions to whether someone does 1P2C or 2P2C, adding these exceptions have been agreed upon by the mods to be not the best choice, as the category itself is inactive/unexplored, 1P2C will never be faster than 2P2C regardless, so I think there is no good reason to have any form of exception of 2P2C only or splitting the two in any way. You can easily tell which runs are 1P2C and which runs are 2P2C, filtering the category towards these 2 ideas have been noted to have no effect, as like I said, you can tell which runs are which, and are easily comparable right from the leaderboard.
They are transferred to a sheet only Okra and I can see, to confirm runs to add them to the archived sheet.
This game isn't active enough to have a reason to add more mods, the current ones are fine.
The verification process is done almost monthly as there are little to no submissions anymore.
1.0.1 is equivalent to 1.1.0 as 1.1.0 only added in Korean language iirc.
Factory Reset depletes all your game data regardless, either that or switch homebrew which people use to downgrade now without factory reseting if they wish, join the discord and ask there if you want to know more about it. We'll be getting Cloud Save in early September so it will be a safer way to keep all of your game data while downgrading/deleting game files and such, until then, these are your 2 options.
Well it wouldn't be "Fast Any%" because you aren't finishing the game as fast as possible.
I had no clue it wasnt in the ruleset before, i havent really had anything to do with the game or had any activity here for well over a year.
