Hey all, I was wondering if someone has notes for expert true ending and if I could share them with me, that would help a lot.
Hello, i have to say that you have your point. Since load times are faster in pc. The thing is the majority of the runners are in pc. There are only 9 runners on console, and a few of them runs pc aswell. I guess if u start doing runs on the ps2 you will give mods an incentive to finally split the leaderboards.
What he was trying to say, in my opinion, is that, there was a vote already, and the other japenese runners were agaisnt it, so mods can't allow the gltool just because 1 guy wants, there has to be a majority. If you really want the tool in the japanese version, then have a talk with the japanese runners (not only japanese people, but everyone who runs that version) instead of creating drama and/or insulting people who puts efforts in this community.
The game is the same, it has the same dificultty as any other port, if you choose original for sure, and all the enemies have the same hp, the only real difference between console ports and pc ports, is that you can skip doors. Jill speed is also the same. Maybe you're running a modified version.
You must go to settings, and active the "Global Hotkeys" option, you can bind another key to start the split if you want, make sure you start it before the game starts, and for this i mean when the first cutscene is displayed
Are you running the LiveSplit as admin? Also, you must start the split by yourself at the begining.
Hi everyone, i was reading at some old post, and i read about the classic rebirth patch, is this allowed in runs?
@MoeMoe_7 this thread should be already blocked, i mean, there's a google form, there's nothing to say here, if someone wants to talk about this, they can go to the re3 discord.
Well, what i do, is listen to nemmy's steps, at the beginning you'll hear his first step, you should aim as soon as you can, jill will automatically aim to the valve, you must press the action button as soon as you hear the 2nd step, then quickturn and advance just a little (like 1 step) as soon as nemmy start the animation to grab you, run forward and then go back (he will hit the acid while you're doing this) you must get close to the second valve, aim , and as soon as nemmy start to stand up, hit the valve, quickturn and run when he tries to attack you, he will hit the acid, the last one is the easiest, just wait for him and hit the last valve, run towards him and he will hit it (most of the times). I know this is quite confusing, but that's what i do.
This is going a bit too far, look, i voted no, even though i was running the game today, and 80% of the times i got a magnum from the locker, most of the runner voted yes, so theres nothing much you can do with your "valid" arguments", that's what a votation is, you can't win 1 vs 10. (That was for silent)
In my opinion, there's nothing much to say, this is just pointless, changing how the game works is wrong, even if it's just a little piece, and making this it's own category is stupid, cause then, most of the runners will move to that category eventually, and the original any% will be dead sooner or later, i've been here for more than 1 year, and maybe it's not a long time, but so far the game has gone well this way.
I tried to open the srt and it didn't open, the same happened with Livesplit, i'm using Windows 7 x64, does this programs work for x64 os?
Thanks, then i'll learn the old route while waiting for the new tutorial.
I have seen that the new runs mention new skips that were found, I wonder if there is a video that explains how to perform them, and if the video that is in the guides section is obsolete?
Maybe the new rules make the old ones obsolete.
Thank you too, btw, on steam, it says that this game runs on 32/64 bits system, but i´d tried to open it on a 32 bits computer and it doesn´t work.
Almost forgot, for the time in online runs, you can use the tracker on emu, i think it is the more accurate way to do it.
