Hi!

I've just started getting into running in the last couple of days, some of you may have seen me bugging the streamers and ruining their runs with my questions (sorry!).

I'm from Australia and have a PAL console which I understand runs at 25FPS and is generally considered bad for running. As it's still early days I think it would be silly to spend the hundreds of dollars it costs to get an NTSC console + display device, gameshark + correct version of the game imported to Australia.

So my question is, if I buy a controller to USB adapater, can I do realistic practice on an emulator (P64 1.6?) that I will be able to apply what I've learned to an actual console setup later on if it's something I continue with?

I've been able to practice on my PAL console and start learning but not having save states and practicing on a slower version of the game seems pretty non-productive.

Thank you! Syno

Hi everyone,

I've been super interested in learning to run SM64 for a long time now as it's my all time favorite game and has such a fun run :) so time to see how far I can go xD

Also most people just call me Syno for short ;)
