@Daravae It seems the person has not bothered to contact you while still being active. So with that I would like to ask to become a moderator for https://www.speedrun.com/dino_stalker :)
No idea when I would get around to a run either, but when I do I will apply for moderator.
Hello. I have had runs for https://www.speedrun.com/dino_stalker sit on pending status for over a month now. The mods are not very active, some of them its been a year since they have logged onto the site. I would like to just be a verifier so I can verify future runners (And my own run, which I don't like to do but have no choice) .
I don't know how I didn't notice that IGT time right there, sorry. Thanks for the replies!
title, just curious since I own Ps2 version
Is there any chance those games can be added to this series tag?
I don't run this game yet, but until someone provides actual evidence of a substantial difference between NTSC-U and J then I don't think another category is needed. This game already has too many in my opinion.
So I guess the original moderator deleted his account. I vaguely remember 2 runners but I could be wrong, I will ask if I could take over the moderating (if there isnt one by then) once I have a run of my own. Thanks
I remember this board having runs, I know they still exist on YT but I would want to submit if I decided to run the game myself.
Hey dude, I have also not touched this speedrun in a very long time. I had plans to dive into SEBEC but ended up moving onto other things. How has the guide been coming along? Wish you the best of luck and if you need a place to chat with others about SMT:P speedrunning then consider joining the discord.
I think this is a cool tool to have outside of actual runs. But it should be banned for sure.
Press F2 in game, no need to use the .ini. Then bind left turn and right turn to one key.
Finally after 5 years someone found an OoB! This is awesome stuff.
Some doors load fast and some load slowly. You know that its a slow door if you skip the door animation quickly and you get a black screen for a bit. (This doesn't happen for fast doors).
- For the fast ones you can skip them instantly.
- For the slow ones it is faster to wait a bit then skip them. (You won't get the black screen) There is a specific timing to it, my advise is to watch top runners skip them. There is many throughout the run that you will learn with time.
Some leaderboards have a column for RTA time and IGT time. Having future runs require RTA and the IGT could be a thing, not sure if that would help at all? You can keep IGT as the main ranking method with this.
You mean the skip that is used in Major Glitches for PSX emu? IDK for PC.
I know that playing the PAL version (50hz) effects the IGT so that the time is much lower then if you where to run on NTSC. It doesn't seem to work the same as other RE PSX games? For example, menus pausing IGT.
