Hi All. The current patch of the game has broken the Autosplitter/Load Remover so until a fix is made, please follow these instructions in order to downpatch the game to use the Autosplitter. Instructions courtesy of Lucianov3.
- Open Steam console Tutorial -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=873543244
- copy paste this into the console -> download_depot 1996010 1996011 1019118456931248704
- Wait till it says "Depot download complete : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1996010\depot_1996011" (455 files, manifest 1019118456931248704) "
- This may take a few minutes and it wont show you any progress so just wait.
- Go to your steam directory and than there -> \Steam\steamapps\content\app_1996010\depot_1996011
- Start the game from there and be happy. If you still have any issues its not because of the version your playing or the LRT.
I am trying to delete a variable and replace it with a more updated one, but I can't seem to see an option to delete, only Archive which is not very useful.
Is there a way to delete these?

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know I have made a Load Remover and Autosplitter for the Steam PC version of this game. The autosplitter splits after each level (including ending cutscenes) and the final split is on the credits rolling at the end of the game. I know this isn't normally what the timings are, but I thought it'd be fine for the moment.
The Load Remover isn't perfect (this was the hardest part to get working) but it does pause the timer on actual Loads and not just when the Eye Loading Icon is visible, after testing it.
I don't know if you may want to use it at any point for the PC version, but I have submitted it to LiveSplit where it should soon be able to be used.
Hi all,
I've just recently made an ASL version of the in-game timer, but with Autostart and Reset available, and it's now available to activate in LiveSplit.
It's not meant to replace the timer that's in the game, but I do know some people might like to have a version for their own splits reference.
Not sure if this is helpful and is probably already widely known, but just thought I'd share.
I did a glitchless casual speedrun today and it was pretty fun.
However, it is worth noting that you can set off the Paint Bucket drop for the Detergent before Slums 2 (I would recommend) and you can also grab the casette tape early before you're meant to know about them.
Just thought this would help anyone interested in running the game and wasn't aware of these facts.
- You can mash both the Spacebar and Left-Mouse button to skip through text quicker.
- Spacebar can be used instead of clicking on an object.
- Number keys 1 (Look), 2 (Use), 3 (Talk) and 4 (Telekinesis) all correspond to different actions. You can use those instead of clicking icons
- The Plastic Bag near the end can be grabbed with the Flypaper without having to look at it.
- Use WASD or the Arrow keys to move closer to an interactable object before using it to reduce Coop's Walking time.
- Try not to spam Spacebar and Left-Mouse button too much whilst in front of a door as you can accidentally enter it instead of moving where you want to go.
- You can use your mouse and double click on an area transition if it's in view, even if Coop is located quite far from it. As long as it's visible on the screen, you can travel.
Now that there has been a patch rolled out to fix some of the bugs with this game, I was wondering if people would possibly be interested in a 100% category?
This would include getting all costume pieces, Got 'Ems, Side Chores, grabbable items and finishing up the main story.
Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
Hello everyone! I'm streetbackguy and I've been here for months now but never really introduced myself.
I enjoy speedrunning and have been motivated to ever since watching AGDQ and SGDQ many times and have now submitted a few runs myself to this website.
I'm all about learning fun speedruns (even if I'm terrible at them) and meeting many new friendly faces along the way!
Currently I run Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 3, Hearthstone and to some extent, Simpsons Hit & Run (but I'm still learning it right now!)
Pleased to meet you all!
Hi All,
Just wondering if PC version runs would be allowed? I can't see it under the games 'Consoles' and as it's been on Steam since October 2019, it could be good to add in PC version runs.
I don't own a 3DS or a 3DS capture card unfortunnately so I am unable to do this properly, but would still love to give this a chance of a run.
Would using the Citra emulator be allowed?
