South Carolina, USAI think it would be interesting to see a category that requires you to collect all of the statues, cards, and peppers, but only enough gems to enter each level. Any thoughts? I might try to record a rough run at some point soon, just so we can see what it would look like.

Hey guys! I was just wondering what old games (like NES/SNES/Genesis) you would like to see get an HD reboot :).
For me, it's old Disney games (ie. the Illusion series, Lion King, Aladdin). I'd love to see these get the high-def treatment.

You should vote for Castle of Illusion because I've already played it and have done exactly 1 run of it. It's like 30 minutes off WR, but that's ok, because it can only get better from there!!
You should vote for Sonic 4 because the world needs more Sonic runners! I chose Episode II over Episode I because it looks closer to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (my all time favorite game). Also, a big plus for me, is that it has just enough of the built in ridiculous speed of a Sonic game, but also just "slow" enough that it's not just a hold right and win type of game..

Has anyone played it? Is it speedrunable? Just want to know what kind of game it is (length, RNG dependency, enjoyability) before I buy it.
So I decide that I'd record my first ever speed run today! I don't have everything mastered in the game I'm running, but that didn't really matter yet.
Run 1: Everything is going fine. No issues with the timer. Get to the last phase of the final boss and McAfee pops up, and freezes the game. Run over...
Run 2: Blah blah blah, get to the final boss and my phone rings and I have to go to the other room to answer it. Run over...
Run 3: Blah blah blah, get to the final boss (again) and my phone rings (again) and I have to pause to help a guy at work. Run over...
1 hour break...
Run 4: 4 minutes into the run and Windows pops up asking if I want to restart. Run over...
I think someone's trying to tell me to give it up :/

If I bought the Steam Link, would I need a capture card as well? Or would I be able to play the game on my TV and stream it from my computer as well? Only wondering because I don't have a second monitor and would like to be able to interact with chat if I choose to stream. Thanks in advance for your help!

I want to play some old Sonic games (1,2,3,SnK, etc) I wanted to use a good PC emulator. Any suggestions? I want to get something that is as close to the Sega as an emulator can be, and I don't want viruses either haha. This will make it a lot easier for me to stream haha
I want to stream myself learning to speedrun (lol). Do you guys/girls know where I can get a relatively inexpensive capture card that is compatible with Wii U? I understand that you get what you pay for, but I also don't want to pay an arm and a leg, know what i mean? :)
Hello guys, I've been watching AGDQ/SGDQ for a while now and I've decided that I'd like to give speedrunning a shot. I'm not that guy that's going to beat any world records, but i figured it'd be fun :). I only have a Wii U so I'm a little limited on my choice of games. I'm going to be playing Link To The Past for a bit to see how it feels.
Right now I don't have a capture card and don't really know of another way to stream, but I'll work on it!
