Waterford, IrelandA new method for detecting spliced videos discovered recently by the moderators of these leaderboards has resulted in the disqualification of certain runs from the leaderboard including an iconic run by ExoSDA.

While I can certainly see why that's preferable to monitor replacement, (I wouldn't suggest this one for the sake of a game unless you knew you wanted to throw A LOT of time into it), the chances are it is effecting other places in the game too. Saw cycles, lift speed, other boss animations and even character mechanics for other characters.so figuring something out would be for the best.
It's a bit odd that rivatuner doesn't work but there almost certainly has to be an alternative.I'm on the latest version of Windows 10 too so it shouldn't be that anyway.
Mind me asking if you've tried both windowed mode and full screen btw? Silly thing but this game is janky enough that could honestly make a difference.
If you get msi afterburner you should be able to get an on screen display for both framerate and refresh rate just to be sure both are correctly locking. It's very strange if both are, your pc isn't overloaded which it really shouldn't be almost regardless of specs unless you have a lot on in the background or wayyyyy too high settings on recording.
That's definitely slow. Can you check what fps you're getting in game with some software? Also try enabling vsync at gpu control panel level.

We had a discussion and the decision has been made to remove meat ninja.
He was previously available for submission though no-one had done it. There's actually relatively few levels where he was faster than naija anyway.
All characters except Steve should be available under the character tab when submitting a run and are allowed
We've left out Steve due to the high number of levels that he trivialises (and that he is generally not very popular.)
For in-game leaderboards meat ninja and steve won't register.
Are you sprint jumping Hunter?
Sprint jumping is this: you press jump on a wall without sprint activated and immediately activate sprint after jump. This causes you to kick off the wall with less speed but still recover fast meaning a tighter arc and potentially less time between jumps on a wall.
Sprint Jumping is necessary to keep reliably in on brownie.

Can you do anything about the echo? It's not a big deal for now but it sounds like you are recording both game sound and microphone while game volume is playing aloud so maybe throw some earphones in the side of the TV/monitor/whatever or don't record microphone.

@Jintek Is the timing differential consistent or at least almost consistent or is that not it? Also is this a timer differential (real time ss runs take same time) and if so do you know if the spawn times are different. Not ever gonna effect me anyway but just curious.
I presume wii U is the same characters as xbox and ps4. It's a real pity I mean two of the three unique characters dont give much variety or potential and in turn you miss out on some of the best characters in the game. Naija, meat ninja, runman are all very different and cool to play...not that have of you peeps have even tried them ;/

XBox performs perfectly bar the load times mentioned by warm ham for meat boy:
Xbox is perfect for practising any % since even if load times are different the play should react the exact same afaik
XBox 360 can't skip cutscenes so you are at a disadvantage for dark ending and 106%. Not sure if xbone can skip cutscenes
You don't have naija, josef or runman so you are at a disadvantage in 106% too even though spelunky might help a tiny but but I suspect very little.
Finally you won't have the same speedrun potential on ILs since aside from spelunky and maybe ninja(not sure how much he does) all the characters and more are in pc version and missing naija is a big thing here.
