It's very great.

I've trimmed down the input for Invisible Player 3: R, D, U, L, U, L, D, R, D, L, L, R, U, R, U, R, D, R, R, R, L, L, D, D

I know. I got curious about the game this year tho. So ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Well any% and 100% is the Lockpick's story (when you look at the splits). So you mean Pickpocket's Story, Origins (Epilogue: The Cleaner) and Fin?

I'm sorry, what are you trying to prove?

Edit: Just noticed your other post
OMG it literally just started working. I swear to God it crashed before today.
Good Job. You're welcome by the way.

Edit 2: Don't spam click while you're on a loading screen. This is why you most likely crashed. Just have the window open, don't use any background programs, once you see the little introduction hit escape, you're in the menu, and then screw around with what you wanted to do.
I would hop on this bandwagon if I could get croc 2 into windowed mode. RIP.
Oh no. It's like no one actually created a topic where they provide a tutorial on how to actually do it. http://www.speedrun.com/croc_/thread/siowh

Nope. It's meant to work as you stated. Start, then select.

Maybe your select button is broken or something. Check with another controller.

Note to Every Judge: Reject all of SkiCrazedTeddy Emulation Runs in the future (that are PS1). If he flags it as console. Note it down and send it to me. I'll check for you. Unless it's apparent to you he actually used a console. Then do whatever.

SkiCrazedTeddy you're only upping your attitude here. We know that you did the same sort of shit towards our friends over at the Spyro Community which had this rule already placed 6 months ago. It's the same rule change as theirs but the difference is I brought in the facts that you wanted.

That Crash, Spyro, Spike and any other character that you control on whatever PS1 game that has been done on psxfin has an increased speed of ~1.012% (~1.005% for PAL).

"But it doesn't matter that it's a 1% increase." You whine. If we get 2 runs identical 1:1 all the way for an hours length of running on console. Your time on psxfin will be 59mins 17secs not 1 hour as it should be. If you did a run that was 2 hours long on console. The time on psxfin would be 1hour 58mins 35secs not 2 hours as it should be.

To repeat.
An increase of anything greater than 0% is terrible no matter what for emulation that's meant to get the basics down.

And spikestuff, you don't even run the games
So apparently being the first person to sub 16 on Orient Express (PAL) means nothing. So apparently being the first person to execute Cuddle Skip Midnight Run (TAS, RTA PAL & RTA NTSC) means nothing. So apparently being the first person to execute grabbing the Gem Early at Happily Ever Faster means nothing. So apparently having an actual time of 1:13:10 on Crash Warped means nothing (twitch vod deleted as it was from back in the day.). So apparently actually having runs of Crash 2 and CTR available to watch in all of its shitty glory means nothing. So apparently even though I am the current World Record holder of the GBA series (Excluding CNK GBA.) means nothing. So apparently my work over at TASVideos means nothing. So apparently my work on a Crash Bash TAS which is real means nothing.

Wow, such strong evidence that I don't run the games, even though I run the games, just with my real shitty Australian internet I don't stream. Odd.

I'm just going to write what you just wrote in another way. (Exaggerated of course)

"Oh yeah. PAL on NTSC is totally fine. It doesn't matter that it has a ~1.191% increase in movement. It's totally fine."

An increase of anything greater than 0% is terrible no matter what for emulation that's meant to get the basics down (even if that increase is possible on console).

psxfin will never be unbanned as it's an obsolete emulator, the original site doesn't exist anymore (yes you can access it via archive but does the site exist without archives? Rhetorical don't answer.), therefore it will never receive any updates and for the record no one cares enough about joke categories.

Crash moves about ~1.012% (~1.005% for PAL) faster on psxfin when compared to actual hardware.

Video

It is to be noted that the footage I just provided was used for checking load speeds between versions and is an old video, but is nowhere near being outdated as the first level on the demo provides everything you acquire for Crash's movement.

The other note is this test was for the PAL version of Crash 2. The version which most people should use.

The final note was that psxfin was using a PAL bios for that test not an NTSC one. If an NTSC bios was used it would've made the test invalid as you're not meant to mix NTSC with PAL as you should know as movement can increase making your run invalid.

This is also a reason why both mednafen and BizHawk are preferred as they can detect what version you're playing and load up the correct bios, as long as you don't tamper with it.

I'm not going to bother wasting mine and someone elses time on doing a Crash 3 check for the NTSC version. You can do that yourself.

And yes, this does answer your poll question about Crash 2 that you have on twitter.

They're using the snes9x 1.43 emulation. They didn't contact most of the devs about using their emulator's code.

Additional info. can be found Googling the topic or going to the snes9x forums, in this topic: Bubsy Two-Fur uses snes9x .

According to Bisqwit of TASVideos, you need to clear 18 Mansions before you enter the game's loop.

Alternately, it could be until the end of the loop after (Mansion 16) due to the mice's increasing speed.

Hello I've done tool-assisted speedruns on Bishi Bashi so I'll just get to the point.

The European version you guys are using is Bishi Bashi Special 1 and 2 in Japan.

Bishi Bashi Special: ¤ Bishi Bashi Champ ¤ Super Bishi Bashi Champ ¤ Handle Champ

The first Bishi Bashi packs all the minigames together. There is also a time trial mode.

Bishi Bashi Special 2: ¤ Hyper Bishi Bashi Champ ¤ Gachaga Champ

Well, you guys should be aware of Hyper Bishi Bashi. Gachaga is a 2 player one where you take on the AI or a friend in stages made specifically for 2 player.

There is one more in the Bishi Bashi line up Bishi Bashi 3.

Bishi Bashi Special 3: ¤ Step Champ

Step Champ also has a track and field type event in there too.

Now that's all the Bishi Bashi done, but there is one left.

Salaryman Champ: Tatakau Salaryman

That is all, enjoy updating your stuff.
can you also make me mod for crash xs. None of the current mods have been active in that game for a long time so there is no argument not to.
No one in the Crash Community even runs the GBA games actively to begin with. There hasn't been a run up there for 2 months, and that last run was done by you.

The Crash GBA Community is fine with the 4 moderators for a tiny community within the large one that we have. Thank you very much.

And finally I bothered to copy and paste what I wrote for the ENG community.

It is possible to play this game (and the sequel) using 3rd party programs and here is what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/1jLuASL.png

Using DXWind, you can set the game up to be played in window mode, and at any forced resolution of your choice, just be sure to change the game option to once you're running the game.

Simple one to use, just download DXWind, extract it, run it, right click the empty spot, select "add" and set everything up from there, Locate Croc in "Path" make sure "No Banner" is checked and the positioning to be on "Desktop Center"

You can screw around with the other settings on your own.

Have fun not requiring a second monitor which is used to dedicate the game to a single screen, if you didn't like that.
