Hey, just in case you have 20 minutes to kill, I made a documentary discussing speedrunning and the community. How it started, how speedrunners look at the game differently, how the community works together to make a route, etc.

Hey there, hopefully this isn't out of place, but I'm a youtuber that focuses on talking about the deep analytical side of games.

I also really like speedrunning, mainly as a observer than a runner. I recently made a video talking about speedrunning and the community, but in a effort to get footage for a lot of it, I've had a crash course into learning how to speedrun myself and found out I really enjoyed it, so I figured I might as well introduce myself to the community!

So far, I only briskly run through Guerilla War (NES) and Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES) but have been interested in a few other games as well, mainly obscure ones. I really enjoy TASing as well (suits my perfectionist style better), so I might do a mix of both.
