I was just having some fun in the spongeball arena at the end of the game. I wanted to see how fast I could grab all the shiny objects. I think I have reached my limit with this run. As I had a lot of fun with this, I wanted to invite you to try this as well. Now that I know how fast I can grab all the shiny objects, I want to know how fast you can do it. As a disclaimer, I am not asking for this to be an official category, although I would not mind.

So first of all, sorry for wasting your time rejecting my 25 speedruns, whoever took the time to do so :p

But do we really need a confirmation that a speedrunner is speaking the truth? Because the rule seems to be that you need to show in-game footage where it shows the time at the end.

I have only had previous speedrun experience with Portal 2, and they just confirmed my time without even the need of any evidence whatsoever. It was only 20th place back then, but still. I must say, I was a little surprised. But the truth is, there aren't really any fake speedrunners out there.

So why do I care? Well, I have a few world records on in-game time challenge mode speedruns (some by over 1 second,) and all the footage I have, is what SUPERHOT saves when you tell it to save your replay. So basically it doesn't count. So I basically need to redo all challenge mode runs, which I don't want to. Or can I just upload the footage I have, and just add a screenshot of the time viewed from the menu?

I feel like not more than 20 people on the planet care about my times anyways. So if you still don't accept my times, it wouldn't be a big deal to me at all. So I guess I don't really care much after all.

But still, I feel like it is unnecessary to verify that a speedrunner is speaking the truth. Especially when they have a video showing their speedrun, even though it isn't real proof.

On top of that, someone could probably write a script that just makes the in-game time timer go just a bit slower. So even video evidence isn't actually real proof. You could say 'No one is ever going to waste their time on that,' but I feel the same way about fake speedruns in general.

I am also wondering, is it a problem if I make a compilation of 5 speedruns and I use that as video proof for all 5 speedruns. Because I can understand the general user of this website just wants to see that specific part of the video where I do that one map. Is there maybe an option to tell this website from what time to play the video? This is just me not wanting to upload 25 videos, in case you didn't already notice :P

Lastly, I currently have a compilation of all my speedruns uploaded on YouTube. If I added just screenshots of all my times viewed (and thereby verified) from the game menu in the description of the video, would that be considered good enough? This would basically be the best scenario possible for me :)
