In your honest opinion, what is a high level/top tier player, and how do people get to this status? I've seen these two terms a lot, but never really got the grasp of what it means. So I made a thread about it. Detailed answers are definitely helpful.

Hello. I'm a new runner at GTA III, and I need help on getting better at the game. Chivu93 is my inspiration for GTA III, and I'm amazed at his skills. He managed to save 2 minutes in his WR speedrun, and ofcourse, I was impressed. I want to be a good as he is/a high-level player(even though it's hard for me to catch up to him. No different from KZFREW and Mhmd_FVC in Vice City). Your best advice will definitely be appreciated. Thanks.

I noticed that this word get used often in the speedrunning community, but I never understood what it meant.

For example: "I been trying to grind out the game." "I've been grinding to beat my personal best." "I've been interested in the GTA grind."

Can anyone tell me what does it mean?
