Alaska, USAFunky and daisy are the fastest middle and heavy characters so they are used in almost all WRs with a few exceptions. The difference is that funky is faster then daisy but daisy has the mach bike which has the best drift in the game. Funky is better on most tracks but on tracks with a lot of tight turns and not much straightaways the mach bike can be better. Examples of tracks Mach bike is better on are DC, MC3, rDKM and rBC64. Also daisy on mach can be easier to do some glitches with then the flame runner. For example CM, NKJP (uses yoshi but still mach)and the BC spiral skip cut.
This already Pretty much exists. It's the first step of the 100% run to do exactly that

Could be a Workable solution to say all WR times need video proof and then anything 2nd or lower is whatever. As far as blasting away any current times you could just make it a rule that only applies going forward so you don't have to wipe out the current times and those unproven WRs would disappear naturally when they are beaten.
@chronos_R I think it might be helpful to put in the console category first. Problem is it's super demotivating to try to run this game in any serious way because I could never touch the even decent PC times and trying to time IGT during the run on console is a massive pain so i just don't bother and i'd guess many others feel the same. If they were put in even if there are few runs in it it'd be much easier cause i'm no longer comparing to PC players. If you add the console category you'd likely get a lot more console runs as a result.
@charlocharlie Deleted two of them because they were WRs which were slower IGT then 2nd place and I think that's a BS way to have a WR so i deleted them so the person who should have WR has it. Aside from that I normally will delete my runs once they have been beaten by me or someone else and are no longer records.
I've been wondering lately if we are putting IGT on all runs now why not make IGT the only thing that matters for the rankings? Just as a example I know I have 2 WR's that are slower using IGT. My flower cup, no skips, Balanced items run beats 2nd place by 3 seconds when my IGT is 5 seconds slower and my Star cup no skip, on items run is a bit under .1 slower on IGT but is WR by 2 seconds. I can't be the only one that thinks that's dumb. If we are timing it now why not rank based on it. At least going forward and for all current runs that have IGT if mods don't want to go back and check all the other times?

So i'm having a issue where sometimes (a bit less then half i'd say) when i attack guards and pay the bounty to get teleported where i want to go they will take my money and just let me go there without teleporting. I can't figure out what causes it and it's cause issues in several runs for me? anyone know why this happens and how to stop it from happening thanks
That would add a huge amount of new categories when we already have a ton. Plus not very many people really use karts anyway. It'd clutter the page up and very few people would every run them. I don't see a point.
is there any chance we could get a No item Nitro/Retro category. I think that'd be nice to see plus it'd be two extra categories for people to compete in?
