Is the final time determined via adding up all the times from the in game timer, or should an external timer be used? I don't have a capture card for my DS yet and my emulator doesn't like loading into races for... some reason? I'm considering doing runs of this game myself, so I wanna make sure I fully understand the rules before submitting something that's completely wrong.

(This is referring to stuff like the All Cups and Individual Cup categories)

I found out that when doing clown 1, you can actually interact with Dunby and push him around. Even better, if you let him get hit by the tram, he just fully explodes. Can we please have this as a category? I would love to see how wild the strats could get for this. Plus its really funny to watch him just explode.

Technically speaking, only playing all chapters could be considered an Any% version, so I'm a bit confused. Is there a way to skip some chapters?

Hi there! I'm extremely new to this community, but I'm getting a bit of an interest into it. However, there's one thing I'm a bit unsure about, and was hoping someone could clear this up for me.

CTGP-R gets frequent updates, oftentimes replacing some tracks with completely new ones. As such, how do different versions of the game get handled in terms of the leaderboards? Does everyone have to play on a specific version of CTGP? If not, doesn't that kind of make trying to Speedrun all 216 tracks a little unfair due to how many tracks change in terms of size and lengths overtime?

Again, I'm extremely new to this, so please go easy on me here. I really wanna try getting into this, and I'd really appreciate a clarification on this. Thanks!
