I check other game and if it's like just 4 or 5 category, there is no problem

I think i submit the form a bit too fast and forget to change the plateform to PC (i submit with the ps4 value).

Should I resend the run or is it ok ?

Hello everyone, i've been speedrunning for few months now, playing on pc, but i want to try some switch game too. So i was looking for some capture card but i really really don't know where to start lol.

I don't know which criteria i should look for ?

I don't know how a capture card work so if someone can explain me broadly ! (i suppose its plug between the sources and your monitor, but after that, can i just get the video output on my pc and use it on obs for example ?)

For now it's mainly to record switch game (on ps4 i can stream via twitch so it's not really a problem and i'm not using old console for now)

For the price, i didn't really think about it. Will see that when i'll know more about those.

Hello everyone, i'm using the steam fps counter to display my fps on screen.

When i'm recording with obs, the fps counter is not display on the record.

Anyone have an idea on to fix this ?

Hello everyone, so I started training this game few days ago.

Used to train zone by zone, with some runs between to be more and more used to that.

For now I can go up to the pyramid, but have noticed my few last run that i probably got luck against the vampires until now. So i just save state before and got some training against them.

I used a lot the tips explain in the guide of LeHulk (really good work, it's impressive and really helpful) to try to mash them. The most reliable technique for me now, is to mash the girl after the red bubble, but it seems that i need some training on others technique aswell.

I recorded myself training for like 10 minutes, maybe someone can see some errors i'm doing frequently :

For now, i think that i have like 10% winrate against them, that's very low lol. The main difficulties that i'm facing :

• Can't handle the both of them when they're close, it's hard to me to get the good tempo, and usually start to panic a little and mashing.

• Hard to see what it's the best way to deal with the man alone. Intercept him seems dangerous but for me it's the most reliable way to deal damages to him, cause he's really hard to follow, and if i'm waiting for him to stop, i usually come to late and getting damaged anyway.

For now i'm trying just to get consistent at beat them, don't care if it takes 2 min lol. These are really my main run killer for now, they're really hard and i think i never kill them without herbs, so it's finish when i die when i used the two herbs.

Hey everyone, I'm learning the Leon A standard run.

I'm trying to be consistent with the G adults apperance in the sewers. I learnt a lot of stuff from the Orchlon's video :

But it seems that's some times, the second last pop off the water without a way to know it (i guess, maybe not of course, that's why im asking :)) :

For the purpose of the screen, I have wait for him to pop off, but usually my problem is that he pop off at the moment where i'm passing, and after that is it really hard for me to pass (maybe bait him ?)

The real problem is that when it arrives, it not seems that he's not sticking out of the water like the others who are "asleep".

Someone already deal with this problem ?

Don't hesitate to tell me if i'm not clear, maybe can make a video.

I played a lot illusion of gaia (illusion of time in my country :) ) when i was a kid and this game is still one of my favourite.

I would like to start speedrunning this game. Is there any restriction on the version to use ?

I used to play this on the french version, but it seems that all of the runs on the leaderboard are on the american version.

Hi everyone,

I recently start trying to run this game, so i was looking to get a stable 120 fps on it.

Actually, even with low graphics i'm having between 90 and 120 fps while i'm playing (but it's rare that i have the 120).

Few infoirmations that can help :

• Firstly, It's a cracked version. I'm gonna buy it anyway for run it, but for now i use a cracked version and i don't know if it can affect the performances.

• Game is install on my hdd, not my ssd. I know i can affect the loading speed, can it also affect the performances.

• My pc setup : GPU : GTX 1070, CPU : Intel i7-7700HQ 2.80GHZ, RAM : 16Go, Windows 10.

• For my ingame conf (i'm playing in fullscreen but for whatever reasons i couldn't do a screenshot while in fullscreen) : https://imgur.com/a/OPwY1MO

• I'm not sure about this, i'm don't really confortable with all theses in game settings, but i saw on a post on this forum, someone talking about how lowering too much the settings will give too much work to the cpu and not enought to the gpu, which can affect performances.

Hello everyone, glad to be here :) . I'm a new member from France. Few years ago i started watching speedruns cause this was entertaining, and i really like the community. I never try some speedrun myself, until some weeks ago and i'm discovering the pleasure of video recording and the management of audio sources (lol)

I really like the Resident Evil series, specially the HD version of the Rebirth. For now it's the only game i can try to speedrun.
