True. That would make everything that could be obtained in the game. I will add that, makes things simpler and everything will be gotten. I will add this as well.
So I was wondering if using the glitch in the 1.0 version of the game where you can get an extra Freddy and Chica is allowed? The only benefit they get is getting to level 20 whereas the main characters that can be gotten are limited to their levels, 10 in XX and 1 in XXX. They cannot learn their skills, so they basically just make for sponges of damage as well as being able to some more damage, but not learning skills really cripples their power. This is mainly asked for Night XXX.
XX is possible, it is going to be difficult, though. You can only level to 10, and you are pretty 2 shot by every strong enemy at the end of the run.
XXX is really difficult because you cannot level at all. You are level 1 the whole time, you are literally one shot by the end game everything, omega hats included even with the best gear. Not saying it is impossible, but is super RNG heavy. I'm still having problems trying to get any% for that worked out.
As a XX runner I will tell you it is not a simple task. And XXX I don't think will be done, in all honestly.
Because I don't think that the debug room is open in those nights. It isn't there for the any% runs either. Probably because you are not able to hit level 20 with the characters in either night and debug room gives to you at level 20.
From watching the WR from that category, the answer to your question is yes. The adding that to the rules, you would have to ask the mod of the game for.
Anyone want to try and help me to figure out these things?
I mean I already have XX figured out for the most part, but refining some things would probably be necessary for some more consistency, if something can be worked out, probably should write out what I did for that. I don't know if 100% would be a thing here, Puppet by itself is a daunting task, can only imagine what the toy versions are like.
XXX is probably not gonna happen, but I do want to see how far it can go before you hit the end of the road. I have played it on the 1.0 Version, the one that I run on, to get the Freddy and Chica from the bathroom. They don't really help in many ways, they can level but without the ability to get the skills they need, they are pretty useless for the end(the only way that I could see that being beat at all is if they could level just a little, like 5 and that is still pushing it). 100% for this is just going to be pretty close to impossible, I don't think that there is anyway possible. Golden Freddy is terrible enough as it is. Don't think that neither the toys nor Puppet seem feasible to beat.
Completely overlooked that, changed it.
This trick would be able to be used on 5 fights for the non frog glitch runs: Knight, Horse piece, King piece, Quirrell and Voldemort. There are more fights where enemies are faster than you but you aren't able to do the trick if there is more than one enemy in the fight. For example, first rat is faster than you(and aside from the fact that the other rats are slower than you) you wouldn't be able to skip. But the better one is for the Devil's Snare where all of the enemies are faster than you, because there is more than one enemy on screen you cannot start the fight immediately skipping their turns.
After watching the TAS for this game, I noticed the TASer saying something about 'hijacking' an enemy turn. So I tried this kind of thing myself to see how it works. I actually did it!! I will be sure to post a video of it in a little bit. I was just really astonished that it worked, so I decided to post about it here first.
Here it is.
Well what I was wondering is if there was a way to control the 'Yes' item, if we were able to do that then we might be able to work on some potential resets to change the RNG kind of thing, or something to that avail. That might be something worth looking into.
What menu are you talking about? I was messing with that and nothing happened in either the start menu nor the fight menus.
The Troll Skip glitch is interesting. The OOB thing has happened to me twice, once at Knight and once at DADA fight. I think that it warps you to 0,0 on the map and that you cannot get back in bounds, though you can move around in there. The 'Yes' item is very unstable, it can be helpful or crash the game, more often than not you will crash the game, the only good thing that I have gotten to happen with it so far is being able to skip across lake from the start menu, other than that everything that hasn't crashed the game has done basically nothing other than glitch up the screen.
Okay, thank you. That will make things way easier than me coming to you guys every time there may be an issue.
Regarding any% runs, my only suggestion is that the run should start from a new game file, since in new game+ you are starting at a higher level, which allows for quicker fights early and also wizard cards carry between games, which can give an advantage in the fact that once certain cards are collected, they unlock chests in the card collector's room on the 5th floor that can give upgrades to spells early. But maybe new game+ can be in a category all its own?
