In the underground ruins when you descend on the white platform just before the skull beast fight, jump onto the black platform and walk of the edge to the right. Hold down and when you appear on the square platform hold square to transform into the gargoyle as the boys shows up. Might save a second or two, might evolve into a boss skip.

I'm just wondering what emulator is allowed, a run for Rue Any% NG+ says it used an emulator but not what one

I've been working on what could be a 100% category for Rue. This is what it includes so far. 1 - Win 5 fights against each for Rods 4 weapons. 2 - The optional fight with Trap Master, Blood & Smokey in Corona Forest. 3 - The 4 side quests. "The Last Hero" for Rod, "Mystic Statue" for Klaus. "Rare Wine" for Hobbs and "Legendary Items" for Jargen. 4 - 3 platinum coins. 1 from beating Black Tornado 5x, 1 from beating Dark Hurricane 5x, and 1 form using the legendary items 10x. 5 - All main upgrades. The upgrades at Hobbs shop aren't included because there is no end to them. Platinum coins from the church aren't included because there is no end to them. I think that's about everything to do, let me know if you know of anything to add. I've made a guide to this route but still have to double check everything. I'm also working on 100% for Mint with all the same stuff except the mystic statue is replaced by the "Brooch". I still have to double check my guide for her route. I would run it myself but I don't have a good enough computer to stream, if your interested or have advise just let me know.
