Come watch me demo a previously almost unstreamed speedrun! :) This game is a fun platformer, a sort of scuffed mario hehee. There are many interesting glitches (I think so xD) that I've found!!

Here is a list of all tricks and skips I have currently found, documented in text and video:

¤¤Note: These tricks need a setup and do not yet contain "specifics" about actions such as where to start a jump or reference geometry on the map to name a few.

¤¤¤Tensuns¤¤¤

Sharks skip: At level start, head towards the left side of the island you begin on. By wiggling between the sharks that block off the end of the level, you can reach it without being eaten, granting access to flight time on top of the ship and the second to last objective, skipping the first objective and all its platforming.

¤¤¤Killer Expo¤¤¤

Faster door trigger: Upon entering the small spaceship at the begining of the level, immediatly fire a star and guide it towards the bottom right. With some precision you can hit the door in the other room, triggering the next part of the level, and exit the small ship immediatly to progress.

Gatekeeper Skip: After triggering the door, immediatly head towards the second to last objective, the missile test center. At the far right of the wall surrounding the missile test center, A guard informs you that the gate is locked at all times. Jump on the Gatekeeper's head, and then jump and try to get a third jump on the wall. If successfull, you may accomplish the second to last objective, skipping three other objectives and granting access to the final objective of the level.

¤¤¤UltimaCrash¤¤¤

Get to boss location right away: On level start, head towards the first objective but do not trigger it. Instead, walk up the path to the top right where the checkpoint is, enter it, and throw yourself off the level. You will respawn with WillFall next to you. Move a few meters farther up the path with the checkpoint, making sure WillFall is following you (He will fall).

Push WillFall towards the edge, right under a path that is just too high to jump on, where you would return from after accomplishing the second to last objective. When he is near enough the edge, jump on WillFall. His small collision box will give you enough height to land on the second to last objective path. Follow that path and touch the flying robot to access the final location.

House Skip: At the final location, the house is locked unless you accomplish an objective. By abusing the weird geometry of the house, you can jump on it and drop down on the other side, which is unlocked. Enter in, and you may fight the boss to trigger the end of the level.

Boss Skip: When the boss apears, lure him towards the big nuclear rocket next to the millenium falcon. When he is near, jump on him. If successful, you will get damaged by the Boss. By holding down the jump button, you get another jump from ontop of the boss, granting you access to the lever completing the level.

¤¤¤Technomummy¤¤¤

Cut the power with WillFall: Jump on WillFall, giving you enough height to blast the power generators of the Iron Museum without having to do all the platforming

Final door skip: The door cutting off the end of the level has a small thin platformunder it. These thin platforms push you ontop of them as soon as your head goes over them. By using jet fuel to fly under the platform right next to the wall with the door, the platform and door will push you into the final area, completing the level.

¤¤¤Earth¤¤¤

The whole level can by skipped by abusing level geometry and jumping over the laser walls sectioning off parts of the level.

¤¤¤PLOT and SETTING¤¤¤

In starshot: Space Circus Fever, you explore lush planets and try to save the Space Circus of Starcash, owner of the Space Circus. He must do this, as he is physically bound to the control room of the ship with his robot ship crew, communicating with our heroes by Holocom.

Starcash orders WillFall, a robot friend of Starshot who fears being discarded to gather up the best circus acts in the universe within a week. This is because a talking two thousand megaton bomb has attatched itself to the interior of the ship, and orders Starcash to pay back his loan to the Intergalactic Bank within seven days, or it will blow up the ship.

Hence, WillFall, Starshot, and WillFly, Starshot's pet rocket's adventure begin! However, things quickly start looking grim. A promotional rocket sent by Starcash on Tensuns, a planet with 10 artificial suns, gets destroyed. Starcash sends Starshot and his friends to investigate, and learn that the instigator of the attack is Virtua Circus, a competitor of the Space Circus led by Dr. Wolfgang Von Ravel.

Soon enough, Starcash learns that Virtua Circus is capturing a virtual image of the biggest attractions in the universe, such as the Milky Way, then proceeding to immediatly destroy it, later displaying it in its massive ship and charging fees to visitors for the only way left of ever seeing these attractions.

Starshot and his friends will have to explore many vast locations, meeting with over 300 unique characters:

-Tropical Tensuns -Militaristic Killer Expo -Jungle like Primitron -Mechanical Technomummy -Junkyard Ultimacrash -The ruins of Earth

To finally be able to meet the evil Dr Wolfgang in person... And settle this for good!

But who will look into a forum in the S's of a game nobody knows about? how would that help fully talking about it lol?

Edit: already have a decently hard time getting some sort of a response about it

Hey peeps, as the sole player in the universe left probably of this game, I feel I need to make it a bit better known, since it has been forgotten or just not known about at all for most.

"Wat is starshot?" : A pc platformer ported to the N64(the most known version) 3d cartoon style platformer with epic (at the time) stretchy animations where u control da cool guy starshot the "star juggler" to help the Space Circus (A spaceship that is a circus)

...for those who havent closed the page reading the above line:

to be brief, I started routing Starshot: space circus fever on the pc not too long ago. I found a bunch of relatively dank glitches and tricks. I sat there jumping at the same spots for hours. Untill my man starshot started clipping through walls and getting infinite jumps lol. And I mean a bunch. The game has 7 pretty big levels, and the tricks skip most of 5 of them.

I have recorded video of all the stuff I found, showing the skips and explaining what they do, for those will bear my horrible commentary:

this is 2 tricks including the one that was the jumpping at the same spot for hours neatly edited. Skips from level begining to final room! The other tricks are on my page or on the related videos.

Anyways, I did a few runs of it up untill the final boss with the tricks, but without taking into account failure of tricks(the one in the video is sooooooo hard untill I find some setup). Took me about 1h10 minutes. The only other "run" of this game is on youtube and goes for 2hours and 30 minutes:

I believe there is potential to reduce the time to less than 1 hour. But some of the tricks are really difficult. I'm really excited in some way to find setups and see how long these tricks truly shave off. Its definatly over one hour compared to a normal run. Thanks for reading! Smiley Please voice yourself if you have played this game!
