Well you aren't going in a straight line. You are holding between up and right. But you could go in water temple first and grab longshot. Or you can learn getting isg off of a bomb which is a valuable skill to know so you only need a bomb to get isg. Or if it is allowed in the particular run, you could dip into shadow temple early for hover boots to help.
Yeah. I was trying to request it but then they told me to contact you first.
I've been fiddling around with the full game lately. Would you ever consider including the full game as well in the speedrun leaderboards? I was thinking speedrunning the different endings in the full game could be fun. I wasn't very optimized in my route but here's a proof of concept of one of the many ending runs I was thinking we could potentially add to the leaderboards if you want.
Where do you find it? I can't seem to locate where to go for it.
According to the rules, after two days you can contact a mod about the pending run but they also recently had to re-verify all runs so that is probably taking some time. I don't know how far along they are with that stuff. Generally 2-3 days is the earliest from my experience so far if they aren't busy with life. I'm sure they will get to it when they can.
It's a program in resources that rebinds a double press of ESC for text skip.
How do you figure out the miliseconds when submitting a run? I want to figure this out for my next run. I got 1:57:25.60 on my first one for example. Is that 60 or 600? I'm not too sure how miliseconds work in general.
Game time and real time run differently. For a very basic example, game time will usually pause during certain points and works slightly differently. Real time never stops ticking once you start the timer until it is stopped by the autosplit or you end the run. That's my understanding of it.
I would also like to know especially with the rule changes. Other games are okay with it but every game has different rules.
That's quite the extensive rule change. I think my run just might have gotten invalidated before it had a chance. Time to try again with the new rules in mind.
Nice run even with the mistakes. Looking forward to your next run. I'm going to try my hand at speedrunning in this category because of your run.
