Sure, just hit "Set default for all runs without a value" after making the subcategory.

If they're NOT all in the same subcategory, you'll have to do it manually I'm afraid.

There should probably be a message regarding the one week requirement.

It's called "MTV Celebrity Deathmatch" on Twitch's side. I fixed the game for you so you should appear on the streams page.
Great idea ! :)

But a level for the user who requested the game on the site can be good too. (above Super mod). Because actually the requester of the game cannot remove other super mods.
A "head" mod position is in the works but needs to have some details worked out. It'll be a staff appointed position and not handed out as easily as super mod is. They'll get a few more benefits besides adding/removing supers.
dude a wooden sword just like minecraft lol
tbh if I made the sprites in the first place they'd all probably copy the minecraft tiers lmao

There's a good chance they'll change once staff get their icons updated. We'll likely all get some kind of shield variations while game mods will use swords.

Verifying-only mods (Verifiers) have been added today. Detailing them in the changelog would be too large so they get their own thread:

• Can only be added by super moderators. • Can approve and reject runs for a game. • Can submit runs on behalf of others. • Can add/remove tags. Those are neglected and letting verifiers add them will help. • Cannot approve their own submissions; requires another mod to verify. • Cannot edit game or leaderboard settings. • Cannot edit runs. This will likely change. • Has their own icon (a wooden sword). • Doesn't do anything for series. Teams and Marathons are untested and aren't recommended for now. If you wish to test it, only add people you'd be willing to trust as a regular mod.

Questions, comments, or complaints can go in this or the feedback thread.

Scanned this thread up to two years ago to add nearly 100 suggestions to a todo list. Now we have a quick reference as to what could be implemented.

I'd use median instead of average thanks to huge outlier runs. You can use the API to get the runs from each board, though it's less than ideal.

Yes you'll almost certainly need a video. Categories won't be made until sometime after the game is released.
Currently, webgames don't show up on the front page if they're marked as webgames, which these weren't but are now.
They do if you're not logged in. I have a fix ready for it but I don't want to push it until there's a whitelist for certain tags.

It's not an easy trick.

The usual method is to either use the keyboard keys or bind Left and Right to two buttons, like the shoulder buttons. As you're moving towards the wall (let's say to it's the right), let go of right and press left, then hold both buttons as you're about to hit the wall. The faster you press the button order, the more momentum you'll keep. You can do it with a d-pad by flicking the opposite direction while moving, but the time frame is very small.

Honestly, if the game has an IL setup similar to SM64 or SMS, I wouldn't even bother making IL leaderboards. Those boards are very inaccurate since practically none of the full-game category runners bother to submit there, leaving them to be filled by randos who want arbitrary WRs. Trying to keep track of ILs from full-game runs, especially for super popular games, is totally impractical unless it was somehow automated with LiveSplit. And no, segments are not the exact same as levels; look at A Hat in Time for an example of that.

Enter is use to pause the game and BackSpace is to leave a level when you've complete it. Besides that, you're good.

I use JoyToKey since my game doesn't notice my controller (or even remembers settings...). You'll just make a profile on JoyToKey to sync your controller buttons to the game. After that you'll just need to start JoyToKey with the game to play normally.

@SpiderSponge We have problems with moderators deleting posts critical of said moderators. Super mods can still delete the posts, and if you really need something deleted, pass it through them. If they're not active, that can change.
