Just opened up Roblox for the first time in years and found some new strats for y'all!
The first and biggest time save is on trampolines. You can jump straight from the white trampoline to the light blue or dark green one. It is a little random, but seems to be more consistent if you also start with a bounce on the brown trampoline and hold the spacebar. You can also jump straight onto the burgers from the dark green trampoline.
As for the second skip, you can jump around the killblock on level 7. Not too hard imo.
Then, you can jump onto the 1 stud line earlier on the next level. You can then jump to the pink ladders on the left side rather than the right, and do the bounces turned the other way around so that the final bounce propells you forward.
Hope it helps shave some time off!
I'm a little confused about how my retime results are turning out for those stages, especially Stage 3. Somehow in runs that look exactly the same - the time is different by a few frames. Could this be the result of differing framerates?
Right now I have some problems irl, so it may take much longer time to verify your runs than usual.
Split up the leaderboards into 100% and Any% for runs where not all checkpoints are touched (There is only 1 Any% run right now, 150 stages).
It will take some time to retime all the runs, but I believe it's better if we have them
Right now I have 2 incoming runs that break the rules. First one is a 100% Gearless 10th place run, but the recording starts 2-4 frames late. Another one is a 2nd place level 5 run piece from a full run, so there isn't a moment where the character is exactly in the center of the checkpoint pad. So, I think the first run could be accepted, because it's so far in the leaderboards and it's easy to account for the late recording start, but second run? I'm not sure. I want to hear other people's opinions.
It doesn't let you through, it doesn't kill you, so are the ToDD laugh clip runs still possible or not? Or should you now do glitches runs and avoid getting the cheese thing?
These stages solely depend on which way the character is turned and the frame rate. Perhaps convert all the stages where the character is turned the same way to have the same time. Also, I believe re-timing everything in 30 fps so that no one has advantage over other runners could be a great idea.
Zombies are very RNG, and you can get a zombie to let you jump on itself, but on rare occasions, so maybe using other players to place zombies right by the truss should be allowed?
If you find a run retimed wrong, you can tell about it here.
Now it is much less confusing, more standardized and overall better.
Most runs aren't retimed, many don't have milliseconds, and the leaderboards with these categories are overall very messy and confusing. I can probably fix it all in just a few days (If regular moderators can't add and rename categories and move around runs, I need to be a Super Mod)
Some runs have very incorrect times on them, so they are impossible to beat. Some need to be removed. For some reason, many runs are without full-retimed miliseconds. I could be a mod to do all that, though I don't really know if I will be allowed to be one.
