I kinda haven't communicated with ya'll, nor whom ya'll are. You two seem like nice people and i'd like to know you two better :)
I wasn't expecting it either lol
Damn dude, nicely done. Good job, makes me want to go back into gunstar ;)
For anyone else wondering:
In-game time will go as fast as the emulator is going, so nothing is affected. So thusly, if the emulator is running fast, so the in-game time will be fast, if the emulator is slow, the in-game time will be slow. No matter what emulator you are using, or if you are using a system, the time will be the same all around. The game has it's own internal clock where it goes as fast as your system is going.
In the previous post with Kusanagi765, He is right in saying In-Game time would be best, because it is easier and because of emulators and what not. If anything the only category that should be real-time and system only is the original mode since selecting parts, mechanics, and music can be affected by the speed of an emulator.
I've experimented with it and I have two runs with practically the same in-time using two different emulators, but one video was longer than the other by 25 secs when it came to real time. This is why emulator isn't a huge issue in this matter when it comes to in-game time.
BTW, Jesse_Porter, nice runs dude Good job. It's great to see another Texas speedrunner ;)
There are no rules set for this run, is it real time or in-game time?
Can't wait to play this and attempt to run, do you have any suggestions or strats that will help me through this?
This Game now has a new Moderator. If you have any runs or any questions about the rulings please let me know in this thread. If you have posted a run and I haven't gotten to it let me know here as well, as I might have overlooked it.
Thank you, Thank You, Pinkpanther01
I don't believe the easy mode can be optimized any more. I've tried different things over and over and I think it is good where it stands now. Anyone have any suggestions?
