Hey so i'm very interested in speedrunning this game, and have practiced wc% a lot. I'd love to do a run, but unfortunately because the run requires video proof and a timer on screen, I am unable to record because i've got a pretty crappy computer and it isn't able to run all 3 at the same time. I've tried even recording the time later with a re-time, but i still have problem with wiz and my screen capture open at the same time. It'll lag a lot, and get me stuck in battles when i don't need to be in them, making it unable to run properly. Any suggestions? (I've also got a T.V. capture if that helps at all.
Poss. Catgegories: I feel like a lot of people are turned away from running this game because of how RNG dependent this is and how under-leveled you are. So possibly there could be an added category of getting all the Smiths in wc? (Smith%). I understand it will cause some problems because almost all runs will look symmetrical, with almost no variation or strategies in the runs. But, there could be some strategies with getting the broom mount to try to save time, and getting good RNG with that, but I understand why it isn't a very interesting category and possibly not worth adding. Another thing i noticed was all primary zones had a category for a run, but Colossus Boulevard (bad at spelling) had none. There could be a Prince Gobblestone%, but again there's some problems. Just like Krok, you're underleveled and Colossus Blv. is high leveled, with 2 enemy encounters, but i think it would be interesting. Same thing with Crab Alley, too. But even if it is a hard area, wc% is a pretty hard run as well but also has a category (although there is only 1 run at the moment. So those were all the ideas i had. They honestly aren't that good because of their flaws, but i think it would at least be run-able and add more diversity to the like only Harvest Lord% runs (probably not tho).
Hi I was going through this game and was kinda disappointed by all the categories there were. I was wondering if it would be possible for you added some IL (individual level) categories for each individual world or level.
Hello, I was practicing for a wizard city% run, and got to the nightshade/foulgaze battle. I was thinking that this battle was pretty hard for a low level storm wizard, especially how the minion has a storm resistance. So, I was thinking you could go and team up with some other wizards on the team up button right below the action bar once you get to the tower. It does follow the rules that you aren't doing it with your friend, but a random player. It may take at most 2 minutes to get a team, and you'll have to fight some extra minions, but it really does reduce the possibility of a death and could get through the fight easily without much struggle.
