yes, emulators are allowed and they do indeed exist. Its a process of moving your game to your computer as a CIA. basically you're dumping your Tomodachi Life (LEGIT, NO FREESHOP) and it will become a CIA and you can dump using GodMode9 or FBI. I have a link to the Citra Emulator website. If you even ASK where to find a tomodachi life rom or CIA, you will be banned from their site. Don't pirate please.
Link to Citra: https://citra-emu.org/
there you will find a download and setup and advice and a tutorial on to how to dump your 3DS games. Again they have to be legit copies, not pirated as Citra does not support Piracy.
Tip #1: To save hearing/watching you Mii talk to you before a trouble, check their belly and immediately click back. Saves about a second or 2.
Tip #2: When starting a run, and a Mii is hungry, BUY THE CHEAPEST FOOD BEFORE YOUR 20,000 YEN GOAL. The game checks to see if you have 20000 in your wallet, not total collected over the time of the run.
Tip #3: if you're playing on an emulator, if you wish to time travel, pause your emulator, open up your settings and change the date of your PC. Then un-pause and reset your rom. If on 3DS or DS, you have to go into your system settings and change them there.
Happy speed running!
First of all, for emulator we have the English ROM hack, so we would be able to pull off possible marriage runs for mii's. And we could add an English Version selection instead if NTSC/JAP (especially to point out emu's)
...
Honestly that's all. Hope these could be a thing!
Also, would I be able to help moderate this community? If not I understand
Should we have a seperate category for console runs? Console can't do most of the glitched runs and saving takes a hella long time, especially for glitch less. It's just my opinion and people can turn this down, but it was just a thought in my head since saving takes off about 15 seconds. I have confirmed that you can indeed save skip AND skip cut scene going from your house to your farm. But on console, you can't copy and paste long code, and the long code wouldn't even work, so it's just a thought, and I honestly think console should have it's seperate category of runs.
