As in the title. Those platforms are missing so obviously it actually hurts.
I would simply like to congratule you guys, especially Barrows-man : ), Ewil, Fex and tadyyy, for making such great runs, running onto great ideas and pushing the competition further : ) That's it, bash me but I just wanted to say that : ) Also for all of the mods and verifiers, and critics : )
Hello.
As is the name of the thread - I heavily think that the leaderboard should include the segmented speedrun category. Fexen's run is a great inspiration and achievement in its own right, even if a bit dated, and I'm pretty sure other people would like to make an attack at the segmented 6:54 (see SDA or YT for the run itself).
It's a good start, and wastes less life than the single segment run : )
Hello everybody!
I'd like to ask one very important thing. In Fallout 1 and 2 (methinks), there is a glitch/bug that can be used the same as the A (attack) key. It's 0 (zero) and it works in conversations, it allows us to end the talk. If the other character is agressive towards us, it will attack us after the talk nevertheless. Likewise, if the character 'bugs' us when meeting (for example, like the first mutant in front of the military base always opens the conversation upon seeing us), he will 'bug' us again. The glitch it can be used in one or two dialogues and save some time. Please let know if it's OK to do that, it does save a few seconds. From the point of view of original maker of the Fallout runs (Devin), he says that it's ok (stated on the speeddemosarchive forum) and it's built-in so probably it's OK, but I want to be sure. Thanks : )
