Funny that this could be considered a necropost, but:
https://www.speedrun.com/post/7mkn7 This is an example of a thread that was clearly dead and someone commented on it, bringing it back to the forum as a "new" topic.
Instead of "NEW" on the left-hand side, it would be really cool if y'all added a feature in which certain criteria would label a post as a necropost. What'd be really fun would be potentially a zombie hand icon or something to make it clear to users that the post they are clicking on is actually not recent, but that someone has commented to make it recent.
Edit 7/26/2023: Thanks for adding the date of post created on the new forum section!
Hey! This was one of the first leaderboards I created and it got popular before tools like yt-frame-timer were around.
That being said, if someone would like to help retime all the past runs (including obsoleted), please let me know. Otherwise the times will remain.
As for timing rules, the change is as follows.
Old: "Time starts when click "play." Time ands when you collect the last poster.
Requirements: To be verified, your runs should include video with audio, as well as a timer in one corner for accuracy. See the forum for software to record and time your run, as runs recorded with an external video camera will not be verified."
New: Time starts on the first frame that Zack and Cody are movable in the hotel. Time ends on the first frame after collecting the last poster (screen turns black).
Requirements: To be verified, your runs should include video with audio. See the forum for software to record and time your run, as runs recorded with an external video camera will not be verified.
An HTTP 500 is an unhandled error, meaning some extra digging might have to be done to fix the problem. I'd recommend detailing the bug in the support hub: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub
The ability to transfer someone's headache to someone else in the room.
It seems like current 100% is just "All Folios" based on runs I've seen.
A true 100% would include all items, all duels, all side quests, and all possible spell upgrades. Might be missing something here. Any chance we can get that category on the leaderboard?
Message me directly if you'd like to be mod to add the necessary categories :))
Howdy, I'm from — Would also be nice to add a few more major cities for Texas, such as Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio
Edit: Turns out this is the case for country, state, and city. The first entry for all lists is —
Edit 7/17/2023: Thanks for fixing the issue!
Anyone else want to mod this? The only requirement is that you use something like yt-frame-timer (https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/) for retiming the Original Five Theatres + Extra Theatres category and ILs.
Indeed In fact I missed the notification saying it was ready for set up, next time just ping me on Discord :))
I just spent 10 minutes adding 140 levels to a new leaderboard.
Click "New Level" Level 1 Click "New Level" Level 2 Click "New Level" Level 3 etc.... Click "New Level" Level 138 Click "New Level" Level 139 Click "New Level" Level 140
Can we please get a way to automate IL creation? It's extremely tedious. Another way to do it would be through csv file in which users upload a doc with level names. But something automatic that adds "Level (number)" through a range would save so much time :))
After about 5 years modding this game, I'm handing over moderation of DCR to @egg4059
It's been an awesome and long journey with this game, ever since @Hugh handed it over to me as my first srcom mod experience. I will not leave this game behind :))
I hope everyone continues to find joy in this awesome game!
Here's my first mobile speedrun ever, featuring DCR's Wreck-It Ralph!
The rules for each category used to say: To be verified, your runs should include video, as well as a timer in one corner for accuracy.
This has been removed as we currently have applications like this to help retime runs: https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/
New leaderboards look awesome!
I seem to have an issue with being able to start searching a topic right when I go to a leaderboard (both on mobile/PC) The UI waits for data to be loaded before I can interact with the search bar.
Edit 07/27/2023 Thanks for resolving this issue!
