Its all preference. Many runner prefer the pro con, but some prefer joy cons. From an objective standpoint, joy cons are faster by about 3 seconds if you do certain strats with downthrows, however those strats most likely would be used by anyone other then top runners.
Seaside first being faster is still a preliminary idea. perfect menuing would for sure be needed for it to be faster. It was generally agreed that snow was faster because you could just mash A to select it instead of having to scroll down to seaside.
Unfortunatley, no. In order to downgrade, your serial number would need to end in 000. In your case, the only way to get 1.0 would be to go and buy a 1.0 cartridge.

i need help. most of the my controller will work fine, but every once in a while mario will just start walking by himself. It has killed about 99% of my runs in the last few days. I have tried calibrating and updating my controllers. nothing works. it happens on both my pairs of joy cons which leads me to believe it may be a switch problem. it dosent just happen on mario odyssey either so it isnt just a game issue. i really dont want to have to send in my switch for repair. does anyone have a solution to this? i am desperate. thanks in advance!

im in a very similar situation. all runs ive done have been recorded with a webcam but im scared one of my runs will be rejected because of bad quality. so what semi good budget cap cards are there? i could probably do like 150 or so dollars.
