I run Any% with skip but I think this applies to any category. There should be a clear statement in the rules saying that timing starts the first frame there is a visual representation that you clicked and timing ends when the first frame that the last box is filled. This would add a lot more clarity to timing since this game is prone to very very close times.

What category would I enter into for a coop speedrun if I play on pc and my teammate plays on xbox? Or os that simply not allowed?

I totally agree with the awful grind to get a decent starting weapon stats is only rng, but honestly a speedrunning vs wouldn't be a bad idea and actually sounds like a really cool idea (like I know races exist but a dedicated discord for just learning and racing games)

The level is started the frame that you interact with the level, and it ends the frame that the last circle completely fills. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask them.
