There is some ambiguity regarding the QWOP goal determination, and sometimes the goal screen appears even if the run is under 100 meters, and sometimes the goal screen does not appear even if the run exceeds 100 meters (meaning that even if the record exceeds 100 meters, it does not appear on the NATIONAL HERO screen). We have added a statement that when the goal screen is displayed after less than 100 meters, it is approved as a record because the athlete has landed at least once at a place beyond 100 meters in many cases. Also, even if the goal screen is not displayed after 100 meters, it will be approved as a record. However, we ask that the timing of the timer stop be the same as other normal goals, and that the stop be made at the timing when the results screen appears after the landing.
If you have any questions about this addendum, please feel free to ask.
In addition, the rules were described through a translation site. If there are any strange points in the text, I would be happy to point them out.
The only category we had until now was "All Levels", where you could compete for the clear time of chapters 1 to 24. Now we have 24 categories for each chapter, from chapter 1 to 24. Please note that the start and stop timing of the timer is slightly different from All Levels. Please refer to the Category Rules section for details.
Until now, the category rule has been "time from start to reach 100m". However, if the legs were on the sand, the goal screen would be displayed after less than 100m, and if the runner landed on the right leg, the goal screen would not be displayed even after 100m. For this reason, the rules have been rewritten so that the timer stops when the goal screen ("NATIONAL HERO") is displayed, regardless of the distance.
Also, this text was written using a translation site, so the text may not be correct. If you find anything wrong, please correct it.
This time, a Flash version of the record using Flashpoint has been submitted. So I decided to separate the two versions into different categories, since there are many differences between the Flash version and the HTML5 version. In addition to the record submitted this time, I also categorized the Flash version of the run that was submitted in the past. I've also edited the rules for each category a bit. If you have any questions, please comment. Please check it out.
Postscript
When I checked the records, there were some records that I could not judge because I could not see the videos anymore. I've left them in the HTML5 category without moving them, except for a few. What should we do with those records?
The full marathon category has been established and maintained. I've also posted my full marathon run. In this case, I know that it should be reviewed by other moderators, but I think it would be hard to review a 10-hour run. Since I know the details of the run best, is it okay if I go through the review process myself this time?
