already aware of this and am working on it (https://www.speedrun.com/etoh/forums/noohe)
I've already done that . It doesnt display correctly on the main leaderboard for some reason but I'm working on a solution to that & it should display correctly soon
To be honest i think this might be the best ive seen a roblox recorder video look . Usually when it skips frames or whatever it's a lot worse than this
For the record: youdonmt need a new account for unlock ring speedruns . for ring 9 runs i did this for conveniemce and blastingduck did it for Some reasomn but its not needed as long as you dont do anything a new account couldn't
I don't really follow roblox speedrunning outside of JToH anymore . I'd say just run games you like & don't worry about it too much though
Yeah you're gonna see a lot of variance between different leaderboards as far as wait times go. Generally, game moderators are supposed to verify runs within 21 days, after which you're encouraged to contact them directly. If significant time passes after you do that without anything being done, you can contact site staff about it.
I checked the pending runs on Flood Escape Classic through the API and there are a few other runs that are all over a month old. One of them was submitted 4 months ago actually. Seems like that one might take a while
When you submit a run, it goes into a queue sorted from oldest to newest that looks like this:
From there, I'll watch the run, make sure it follows all the rules, and then approve it if it does. Usually I'll have to edit the time a little first and sometimes even switch it to a different category (sometimes people do a glitch without realizing it, etc.) but that's basically it. Wait times can vary a lot because I get lazy sometimes but right now I wouldn't expect it to take any longer than like a day or two. Glad you're interested in speedrunning the game!
If thats what he meant then Yea I'd consider that a glitch I think
if you're looking for ways to get around youtube's upload limit you could consider setting up multiple youtube channels
update: my bad you did in fact already think of that
if the recordings were 60 fps, i feel like the times i get on straight line ILs would be more accurate, but because i have to compile them due to yt upload limit, it automatically makes them all 30 fps and it sucks.
what editor do you use? there are a lot that do not do this
I think I'm gonna need a video of what youre talking about for this one . I don't know what this means
Yea this one seems to have been sent 7 days ago . Its all good tho . You can check for this on this page on your profile: https://www.speedrun.com/users/Khr0ma_Effect/pending
Speedglitching would be the more definitive no of these two because most people who speedrun the game do not play the whole way through and shouldn't have to to compete. Lag switching I'd have to say Heavily leaning towards no on but I'd have to ask other people about that . Neither of those would ever be considered as glitchless though
That is true but I'm pretty sure that world record is still beatable. This run from after those towers were added would have beaten it if the runner did not use a glitch to do a section that didn't need one: https://www.speedrun.com/jtoh/runs/z5k6w5jz
You don't need to do any of that any more since capping your FPS above 60 is now allowed . It's encouraged but not required to use the "Show FPS" setting in the JToH menu to show your FPS
These micro optimizations getting concerningly stupid at this point
@ChromaDistortion Dont really think that should be allowed !
