In response to Cryssen. I’m not sure. I am playing on an old patch of the release (without that tree texture) not sure if that has anything to do with it. I was also playing on a finished save of the game before deleting that exact one and creating a new game on there. I had extremely high speed but didn’t have a buff or anything show up on the actual HUD

Seperate response, would really love to see this game take off as a speed game as it’s really fun. I’ve been running and playing around with it and managed to get a 42:43 (baby numbers I know) sadly I cannot upload it due to technical issues with having extremely slow rural WiFi on our farm :(

So I played around with this today and I found something else interesting out. If you perform this glitch then exit out once it’s active. Delete the file and start a new game, you still obtain the glitch right up until the dupe section of the run where you have to alt+f4. Now im sure this is something that wont be brought in as a strat. The time save would be good but it would require a setup before the actual run itself that wouldnt be “legal” I assume
