I’d have to check to see if any of the glitches got patched since I last played. I’d probably say no just to keep the categories separate but we’ll see. Also, your video is privated, it needs to either be unlisted or public for others to see it.

I'd recommend watching some runs in the 50ish minute range to see what types of strats they do and the routes they use. As for B-Sides, they're only faster if you do them pretty optimally iirc so I wouldn't recommend them, and either way they aren't easy so it would take a lot of work to get them consistent. Overall sub-hour is pretty easy if you just take it easy and avoid deaths as much as you can.

Penguin is allowed (as seen in cannonless and 100%), it's just slower in any%. But I see what you mean.

I'd like to correct a couple things. Firstly, ILs aren't exactly the way to go for practicing full-game runs because we don't use the penguin suit in any%. So going for a good IL time is very different from going for a good full-game time. Secondly, IL placement isn't anywhere close to full-game placement. I'd say a top 10 1-1 IL time would compare to about a 28:00ish any% time. I agree with the rest though. Keep working on improving, take breaks if needed, and believe in yourself. Also, like mentioned above, join our discord! We would very much love to help you there! Unfortunately we don't have any sort of official (full) "tutorial" but in the #recourses channel on the discord we have some bits and pieces of levels that are more difficult to learn, as well as a video showcasing many good beginner strats.

I mean you could do a segmented run and not be able to submit it. If you can't play for more than an hour, I'd recommend running a shorter game though.

Gl with your attempts! I would recommend doing a casual playthrough of the any% route before jumping into runs and you should practice before doing your first attmept.

While emulators are banned on the leaderboard, you can still do runs without submitting them.

First of all you don't need a category to run something, secondly if you want it added as a category you should have a run of it yourself first.

i think most wiiu games (this one included) are consistent with loading times between digital and physical. if there is a discrepancy, i believe digital is always faster though.

You probably wont be able to get anything under $10 but $10-20 will probably give some good results. Also check other sale websites.

Multiplayer categories already exist under the miscellaneous tab. 2 player, 3 player, and 4 player runs all go there. As for cannonless and 100% multiplayer, there was a 100% multiplayer on the category extensions board but nobody ran it (the people who did din't even submit) so it was removed. Unless there is a lot of interest in it, it wont be added. (Also reminder that Romain isn't the only mod, there's 5 others)

Yes, it does count the star coins, but it doesn’t count that you actually beat the level

pretends, you're misunderstanding. we're saying that since the game doesn't count a level being beaten as nabbit, then it shouldn't count for the 100% IL category. they're saying it shouldn't matter what the game thinks as long as you get every star coin.
