Probably a good idea to avoid confusion with everyone else, also my run was actually the second one not the first because the first one sucked
Ok so im just very confused, when exactly are the load times? I thought it was just at the beginning, but moderator comment times my first run on the video (i meant the second run in the video to be the actual run) that with load times were 14.67 seconds. I thought the load times were just simply at the beginning and that's it. That's what the negative timer is, but the run was also in the 9 seconds range without loads, meaning that load times had to be at least 4.68 seconds or longer, and im really not sure where it comes from anymore. Im just very confused and just would like to know exactly where load times come from so i would know what my time would be without loads.
What is that idea? I might be in that range
You know, the one that slows you down, this way may be an easier way, depending if you got the jump down yet. A visual queue would be the little square on the first block, but only a few parts on that jump work, otherwise you die
That world record is trash tho i have one recording that is under 4 min. So 100% means everything, makes sense, then i just have to complete the challenges by getting 6 am on them, right?
Did or didn't? Typing error? So i don't have to truly obtain the stars just sort of do the required stuff to get the stars im guessing? Also in 100% i just have to complete the challenges, which should be achieved by getting 6 am on that night right?
Ok that's fair, but then wouldn't the other players' runs that start with a star or 2 or 3 already not count?
I would just like to know what about my run doesnt count, I believe I did all the required steps, did I? The rules say, "Obtain 2 stars on the main menu" I got one star before I started the timer, however in the Five Nights at Freddy's 1 forums in response to my question about if you have to obtain the stars before the speedrun starts or does it have to be during, and i asked this for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and you responded with "Both ways are allowed." I also selected "New Game" before i started the run which was another requirement and then I got 6 am on the 6th night 14.64 seconds later. I believe I stayed within the rules. I would just like to know if you changed your mind about a rule or maybe don't like fnaf 2 2 star being beaten in under 15 seconds lol.
A level is complete when you get 6 a.m on that night
Does the same apply for the 7th night challenges, or do you have to get the stars on those too? Or can you get the stars before you start the game as well?
I do backwards jump on the first wall, then the second, then the first item block, then i hit vine and jump over the two piranha plants and cleanly stop at the pipe and go into it rather than that method where you backward jump on the last piranha plant because it looks like i could lose a framerule if i don't do it right.
EDIT: Another possible way which I do if I am ok with losing a framerule, is I brush up against the last the objects, the vine block that you are supposed to hit, the first pipe, and the second pipe. It works very well for me if I am going for a 374 and I wish I could do it every time since it's so fun but it would cost me a framerule.
Is it actually required to obtain the stars during the run, or can it be before? I see people doing this before so i am just wondering
Same question for FnaF 2 because this is a big difference it would make for both games, especially FnaF 1
Ok, so i caught the late timing, but he was also early on starting the timer, he actually started the timer 0.48 seconds early, making his time 1 min 6 seconds and 290 milliseconds
Even the moderator himself does it lol
My mistake on the timing thing, but i'm looking at the time and technically isn't 9.92 + 0.11 = 10.03 not 10.05?
A math error?
I asked the same thing, clearly the moderators are aware of this and i am guessed they believe that replay button is the same thing as the play button, which is probably true
Is it allowed to have multiple fnaf games open? A question for fnaf 1 and 2
In the rules that are posted in the rules section of 2 star, it says "Obtain 2 stars in the main menu", which I have done, there are no restrictions, and "Timing starts when you press "New Game" and ends when it turns 6 a.m. on Night 6." which I have done as well
