Hey everyone. It's been a while since we last had an update posted to the site, but recently there was a change that needed to be discussed.

Recently, the port made by MXX Rixen (also known as Elysium) received an update wherein they ported all of the DLC cars from console onto the PC version. While we have allowed the port of the console exclusive track Quarry on the PC categories of the boards, we have decided to not allow the ported cars for the PC categories.

The reasons for not allowing them are as follows: -Even though the DLC cars are made by the devs, only the console version of the DLC cars are officially from them. The PC versions are ports, and ports can be imperfect. -While it's easy to compare ported tracks, ported cars are much harder to draw direct comparisons with their console counterparts. The Quarry port was only allowed because the mods extensively compared it to the console version, and found it to be allowable. -While most of the cars drive similarly, it has been noted that with some of the cars, they don't seem to have been ported correctly. -Allowing for wholly new cars that are modded in opens the door wider for possible cheating. As a reminder, the only time a modded version of the game is allowed is (a) if it is a purely cosmetic change, and (b) if it has been cleared by one of the mods before the run is submitted.

In conclusion, we have decided to NOT allow ported DLC cars in the PC categories of the boards. DLC cars are still allowed in the console categories, as those are directly from the devs.

Thank you for reading, and happy racing!

Heyo it’s Lucky77.

In the midsts of everything that’s going on, we realized something about the 3 full game runs on the site:

They all have DLC unlocked.

Let me explain. There is a DLC for both Xbox and PS3 that allow you to get all of the cars unlocked without earning the proper amount of season credits needed. This allows anybody to use any car to beat the season, and this makes the run... boring and repetitive.

In the interest of not making it seem like you have to buy the DLC, we (me and the rest of the mods) have decided to make the following clarifications:

  1. In Any% and 100% runs of the game, you must start with a new save profile.
  2. In Any% and 100% runs, you must have none of the DLC purchased if playing on Xbox360 or PS3.

This means we will be removing all of the current Any% and 100% runs that violate these 2 rules.

Happy Racing! -Lucky77

Hey all! Minor update for everyone. A new run had the rest of the mods talking and we have come to a conclusion.

Starting today, all category runs of the game will be timed with in-game time instead of RTA.

Currently, this includes: All Races All Detonators All Air Revenges (Air Revengesi?)

An exception to this new rule will be the All Deadlines category, as it has alternate timing methods in game.

All current runs in these categories will be adjusted accordingly. Happy Racing!

Hey, I know I haven't been in the community for long, but I'd like to try and help out with moderating the game! I feel like I'll be able to provide a lot of help to the community as a whole.

I could continue this job interview speech standard but I think I've said enough. Plus sounding like a stiff is never good
