I found a rout that uses save and quit to get to the top of the mountain and transform into the bunny in 4 minutes. it's kind of a meme category but could have the potential to be competitive. Below is a demonstration video.

i use an original gameboy color and its not ideal for recording runs but i dont have any other way to record. if there is good lighting and i have steady hands throughout the run can the stock GBC screen recording be verified or is it just too small?
at the begining of the run i saw how the WR did a glitch where they got knocked into a doorway and then were able to clip into the floor on the roof of the castle. when i tried this myself i couldnt get it to work. i also noticed how he saved and quit when jumping. i tried this as well but it was in f1 of the castle and not b1 like WR. any tips on how to get this clip to work? are you allowed to hit the home button on your switch and change the time manually or do you have to set it before the run starts. I am not the most consistent so it would be helpful to change time mid run if that is allowed

I want to start speedrunning this game but was curious about what the approved emulators are since my preferred controller is keyboard.
i noticed that in Niftski's WR run he Wrong warped in the first room to the end of wall jump. i have tried this myself too however most of the time it dose not work. sometimes though i warp to the final room or turn around room and i would think if done fast this would save several seconds.
I have relized that Niftski and Nebula both use the same keyboards as well as runners from other nes game. Could anyone tell me which keyboard it is and if its mechanical what the swith type is. Thank you.
