Yeah that's true ... a few runs already have accidental jump glitches haha
I feel kind of dirty about my last run ... I'd like some feedback. Are glitch jumps cheating? I found an alternative way w/ the red boxing glove that is glitch free technically, although its much harder. [I could do it though with enough practice probably].
I picture Todd Rogers and Billy Michell crying and congratulating me while throwing confetti into the air.
Seriously though, you nailed it with "finding a timesave for everyone else to use". Finding a new skip is so exciting, even if you don't retain the 1st place slot. And seeing other people's skips on any% etc. Glitch hunting is just fun in general. I want to do a lot more in the future. I love the concept of beating a game quickly ... 0/1 star runs on Sm64 runs ... wall glitches etc.
- The pie glitch is weird I can't figure it out. The newest version [you are correct which version I used] just randomly doesn't trigger the text for the pie run like ... 40 percent of the time or something like that. I have no idea why. It's annoying as f$$k.
I want to archive a few things here before I jump into a discord.

Yes, there are TONS of skippable parts ... that's why I started playing Glover 2 a bunch because I was having so much fun Glitch hunting. I'm working on a glitch%.

Any% is impossible. This is a proven fact. At least with the current versions.

Yes, I'm sure they mean 60 percent is playable, but it's still unstable for that 60 percent you need to do things in a certain order etc. That's why we should just play the later version in my opinion ... it makes literally no sense to play the earlier versions. The earlier versions are just worse versions basically, even if the spell in the beginning is cooler.
Just to warn you there are at least 4 versions, not 2. Also, the version I'm playing [the newest] is the most playable overall by FAR, personally I think we should just all play that version LMAO. That's just my 2 cents.
According to some research I did today, the newest game is around 60 percent playable, thats why I deleted the any% its not possible [according to the cutting room, I'm still going to try]. I added a scarecrow percent because I've beaten that boss a few times its semi reliable if you don't break the sequence up. I figured I'd just add some more runs for levels/bosses/tasks that are actually playable. Some really fun stuff to do after you make the pie!
I just changed the main rules to include the need to use the October 2010 Team Carrot version.
@jojoretrogamer watch both the pie% videos ... they are different games.
Example: One game uses a shovel to unlock the onion and another uses a barrel.
The only merch I kind of liked was the backwards long jump design. Too bad because this is one of the only places I'd randomly buy merch from.
Hahahahahaha. I can't believe you f*cking added Space Pirates! This was one of the only computer games I owned growing up. I think the first game I ever had for P.C ... How could I forget this game it was so bad. It was literally just a movie with hit boxes pasted over it basically.
Not to bump my own thread over and over but ... you guys are definitely playing the wrong version of Glover 2. Watch the pie% runs they are two different games.
@jojoretrogamer I'm playing around with Glover 2 today. I did a pie% run from that link I sent you ... I think it's a bit random if the game works or not LOL. I tried to get the beginning text part to work yesterday a few times and it just randomly worked today.
request the mod be removed LOL. Only if they are being really hostile to players though. Also, banning keyboards is elitist af and dumb for most games, but that's just my opinion. I played games without a keyboard for ages and still prefer it for SNES, genesis and NES [anything without a directional stick].
This might sound elitist but just hear me out ... You could submit ANY run like get 200th place in some easy click through game it takes 5 minutes.
There isn't TONS of spam on this site but there's enough I constantly see random adverts, people necroing 5 year old forums to get clicks etc.
P.S obviously if the site does this [they probably won't but I'm suggesting it anyways LOL] you could leave open a "noob forum" that is still open for people w/ no runs.
Nothing happens when you make the pie it just reveals that the other glove is the evil glove.
