for TAS you can always just go fast and jump such that you would land barely on the goal block, then while in the air before landing you press left for 1 frame and then press no direction for X amount of frames before pressing right again, see how many null frames (frames with less speed) you need to not land in the block and instead just click perfectly for FPG

an accidental emulator input, emulator or ROM issue or other stuff related is way more prone to me than the idea of this game actualy having a glitch that skips a level after a death that hasn't been found in 40 years lol

anyways, do you have a savestate to load you into 1-2 ? just a theory of accidentaly loading it lol

a mod deleted 5 messages in a row so just in case, you can't directly share ROMs of games in public spaces if that's what was happening

honestly yea, with almost the entire leaderboard being a tie to the second when the exact time of the runs actualy vary, what is the reason to not actualy time miliseconds lol

considering how fast set seed alredy is by not having to go to the nether at all, specialy in the external subcategory with arrow glitch, it might not realy be worth such a detour at a human speed, but it would be interesting to try nontheless

if you are lucky with the ghast, random seed might have the most potential with that, idk

in the game? is all about the rom you got, apparently got an arabic version (didn't even know that existed lol im suprised that's what you found)

i have no idea about the mods or where even is that, but if there is a 1 and a 2 and the 2 is more recent than the 1, I would guess the 2 is an updated/improved version of the 1, unless there is some specification for what each of them actualy is

yea multiple off-brand turbo controllers exist out there for most consoles for a while now, it's taken care of (it's probably not nintendo official controler but anyhow)

yea the original game is from the NES console, and the only "official" version of that you will get without an actual NES is emulating it; it COULD be put up as a game in web, but apparently most sites that simulate it are not accurate (and hard to know if it is accurate, hence not being allowed in these leaderboards)

is somewhat unlawful to go about sharing sites to download a nintendo rom, but yea a search on google gives a good chunk of results; realy any NES emulator will do (Nestopia and MesenRTA are the allowed on LB and often recommended)

just checked the route, and it does leave cascade with 13 moons total, 10 common moons + a multimoon, so that top right just counts the individuals as the other indicated, it is probably right (it would mean there are 14 multimoons which sounds about right)

@Tuna1030 again, limit in official version is 370 , unless you came up with a new trick no one has heard of before that version of the game is not accurate to original
