if categories were structured like this certain aspects of the game would never progress. it shouldn't be a surprise that the times you get with outdated strategies aren't gonna be as good as the times that other people get with modern ones

you are correct about the timing thing, if the timer ever says 0 just add 1 to the last visible time before it changed to 0
