As you saw in the title, I am french and I am seriously thinking of speedrunning pokemon fire red.

I am currently training on my french version with RomStation and I was firstly wondering if an american iso is faster than an european one (like in many games) and secondly if the american is the fastest, is the english version on RomStation is a european or an american one because I don't see any difference of speed between theese two versions.

Ok so (if I understand well) when he get the deku seed, for the game he is underwater so they is no "cinematic".

And the game think he is underwater juste because of the previous oob in water?

Hi everyone. I am trying to understand this awesome run but I don't understand the glitch with de deku seed. Normaly he must take a damage to cancel the text of the deku seed to start the glitch (that's what I found on reddit and you tube in a video). So how did he cancel this text and activate the glitch without taking a dammage?

I searched but I didn't find the answer. If someone can explain or give me a link to an explanation i would be gratefull.

PS: I'm french and i'm trying to comment speed run in french; that can explain my mistakes in english if i did some
