I believe this game belongs in the DC Series.
you love to see it.
I'm looking to reinstate some deleted categories, and restore the runs that were deleted. I was wondering if there was a way to see runs on deleted categories, and move them to new ones. I'm able to recreate the deleted categories by using the aduit log, but I can't seem to find and edit the deleted runs.
The rules are very confusing (to me at least), grammar mistakes, the repititiuon of the entire game rules, and sentences like "Regarding Routes, The for route for which you choose..." throw me off. Also, only the first patch of each category have rules, so I have to keep going back and forth to the first version's category.
Just a little note about the game type: usually when a game is released on official consoles and mobile, it still counts as an official release, and doesn't need the "Mobile" tag.
What're some games with fun irl categories? looking for ones like Cooking Mama 2 - Burn a Pie irl https://www.speedrun.com/cmce#Cooking_Mama_2_-_Burn_a_Pie_IRL
Does the homemade pie have to be good?
Sort of like the 6 Degrees of Wikipedia game, where you start on one wiki page and click a series of links to try and reach another wiki page, like connecting Minions to George W Bush. I use the https://www.speedrun.com/randomgame link to start me at a random game, then try to make my way to a game I'm familiar with by clicking on runners, mods (and what they mod/run), forums, the game's series, ect. For example, I was able to connect Super Bomberman 2 to Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension (DS). (A good tip is to look for games with runners like @TRLittleToaster or @Otterstone_Gamer, then look at the games they run/mod, as you're bound to find a connection eventually)
If you want, you can also open 2 random game tabs and try to connect one to another, though it would probably be harder.
Just a fun little thing to do on sr.c when you're bored, and wanna explore the site a bit.
A steam game I bought crashses exactly one minute after I boot it up, no matter where I am in the game or whats happening, even if I stay on the title screen, it crashes. My specs surpass the required ones and even the recommended ones, I have no idea why this is happening.
The game is Monkey King: Hero is Back
Here are the required specs:
And mine:
Are there any requirements for multi-games? The ones I plan on running are slightly inactive, and I would hate to do a 9 hour run just for it to be rejected for not being popular
Using the Youtube frame retimer (https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/) and going through the Wr video frame-by-frame multiple times, I have found that the actual time for the wr is 26s 117ms. This has been brought up before, and I'm bringing it up again. Mods, please either change the time of the wr run or retime it yourselves.
So, in January, I messaged a series mod requesting to add a game to the series. They had been active on the site after I had sent that message, but didn't respond for a week or two, so I sent a follow up message, but when my message was ignored again, I just submitted the game through the support hub and had it added. Now, I've been looking to get more games added to that series, and again the mod had ignored my messages, so I sent a request about a change of moderations since they weren't being very involved in the series. The support hub denied my request, which is fine, it's up to them after all. So I've been requesting the games through the hub again (I also have to make a ticket for them to be added to the series since they aren't added automatically for some reason) which just makes the process longer than having the series mod add it. Anyways, my point is: isn't a series mod kinda useless if they aren't going to add games or accept messages about the series? (Am I missing something?)
I think I recall there being a rule that games can't be run before it's official release, is this correct?
Also, if a game is released in a different region, but not in mine yet, am I allowed to run it even thought it isn't localized yet?
New Category Proposal: "Across the 2nd Dimension". Could contain Dimension of Doom, ATSD, and ATSD-DS.
