I tried to do the old Hold an object walk backwards and let go clip from HR, which obviously doesn't work, HOWEVER if you do it against another object you move the object behind you. So if there is a heavy object (one you can't pickup without an augment) and you try to do the HR clip through it, it loses all weight and flies away from your body. This is obviously their way of stopping us doing the old clip method in the first place :P

Look's flashy oddRaven, but is it even faster? I just got home from a big day out so I'm too tired to compare it but my suspicion would be that it isn't/isn't much.
Setting core affinity to 0 or 1 or whatever limits the game to running on one core, since the game was deigned with only single-core CPUs in mind it fixes a lot of weirdness, most notably the mouse issues.
Hmm that sucks. I'm not sure what to do about that. I mean I have mouse issues when I pause/unpause that seem impossible to resolve too so who knows how this shit works.

I use 1.01, with core affinity set to 0 when I first run the game, and that's about it.

Again, one of the very first things you said in this thread was "and not simply say Yes or No." To me it sounds like you wanted everyone to just say "Yes" and not give reasons.

Running LS is fine, but wasting time RESETING AND GRINDING FOR A BETTER LEADERBOARD TIME is very different. Use that time to learn the rest of the game/learn a shorter game :/
EDIT: You talk about how GTA V has Trevor%, which has a lot of people on the leaderboards and that encourages people to run the game... but GTA:SA has 49 Any% times while GTA V Classic% (The most popular full game category) only has 18 o0 I know their not the same game/been out less/less popular runners etc, but don't you think more people would do full game runs if they didn't grind/reset Trevor% as much? Idk that might be a bit of a logical stretch but so is saying the opposite
Doing my big note taking watch through now, but there is something I'm really confused about. Can someone tell me what happens at 23:30? CJ instantly gets out of the car and Flying has control over him. Is this a strat I don't know about?
This is an RTA website, TASes should be submitted to an applicable website and LABELLED HEAVILY that they are NOT A HUMAN PERFORMED RUN AND/OR TOOL ASSISTED. It was an attempt to pass it off as a normal human RTA run, there was never any mention of tools used... and it was submitted to this leaderboard.

The traffic de/respawning is them instantly looking down in 1 frame then instantly looking back to where it was on the next frame. It doesn't always show up on the video because it happens so fast but it's defiantly not normal human movements. It's see-able if you watch at 56:20 in slowest youtube speed.
When I have free time I plan to find everyway possible to cheat a speedrun so I/we know what to look for the future, I've already found some aimbots and such designed for SAMP, and then camera stuff could probably be a simple AutoHotkey script. I'll also watch the whole run and try to find everything fishy I can and try to replicate it.
Yeah that's what I mean. Shame people take time to learn stuff then just cheat anyway. Put in effort or just cheat, don't waste effort by cheating :(
I just rejected it. Guy clearly know's what he's doing strat wise but decided to cheat anyway. I'm yet to watch the whole video but there is enough evidence here to reject it.
I'm working all week so I won't have the chance until Sunday, then I'll go through the whole thing.
EDIT: Video was deleted but I have a backup of it anyway. Strange, they had posted on the forum about strats and stuff before, I helped them with recording settings and stuff too. I wonder why they decided to just cheat a new WR then delete everything when they got called out on it.

Alright according to the responses it seems everyone is here Tuesday-Saturday so I'll wait until Monday then produce the bracket and let people know who their matches are. If anyone is up for some practice games anytime I'm totally down though, I'm also at the event for the entire duration so if anyone needs me for any reason message me on Twitter or come find me.
