@Gordidian I said that I got the N64 itself in mid-2019. My current 16-star record was achieved almost 10 months ago.

I actually played SM64 with my laptop's keyboard sometime around mid-2019 on this online game website called GamesHaHa, but a couple months later I got the actual game and played it on there. A long time later, I tried playing it again on laptop, and was surprised at how hard it was with keyboard, but I actually managed to get some 16 star tricks, like the MIPS clip, and even had small spouts of success with getting a BLJ at the 50 star door. Also, I'm sure a keyboard is easier than other controllers, say like, I don't know...

I haven't even done SBLJ yet. Amazingly enough, one time, I don't remember the specific date, but I actually got a BLJ there on the first long jump, which back then I heard was rare even for the biggest pros at the game, so I was kinda excited.

I know what you mean, CometKewber. I remember before I started speedrunning trying so hard to get a BLJ on the 50 star door for about half a year. I think it might be one of the hardest spots to get a BLJ in.

What times are you getting?

I'm not exactly into technicality, but I know that those stairs are more difficult to BLJ on. I know from experience. I got the game in summer 2019 and didn't get a BLJ until January or February 2020. My advice is to practice the BLJ on the stairs before the Bowser level, rather than before the 50-star door. Trust me. They're much easier.

Apparently, the game's profile says it is a fangame, but it really isn't. It was put on the official Nintendo website and was developed by Nintendo themselves, so why does it say it's a fangame?

I actually never got to see it either, and thank goodness.

Unknown to many, Tetris DS got a promotional flash game around the time it came out. It's very short with 5 levels in the style of Tetris DS's Puzzle mode. I was able to get a time of 0:34.3, and I honestly think it could be improved.

Actually, in June 2020, I completed a Mario Clock Speedrun with a time of 4:30. I found out that time by using the clock built into the game.
