The video would also be really long and we don't have the time to look at runs in that length just for something to end the run hours into it.
So we have been looking into this thoroughly and we have come to the decision that the Nurse category is to be archived and that we are starting a fresh, this is due to so many changes to her power and add-ons it gives the older people an advantage, If you have an older run and its not affected by by the changes then we will move it back.

So I want to know if there are any specific logs on staff of the game so we can monitor the amount of runs they are verifying, We have a mod that seems to be inactive and I want to know this for sure before I do something about it, Basically I want to confirm my findings before I remove him.
If there are no logs or ways of finding out then this is an idea for the site.
See surely this would have been thought of years ago as I bet on a regular basis most games during updates have to archive stuff, It would be nice to create a category called Archive and put all the older categories in that. at least it will be cleaned up.
So every now and then we have to archive a category or 2 and this becomes a bit messy for the site, Is there any good ways to archive the old runs that are not being used and also when someone submits a run in the drop down menu you can still choose the older categories is there any way to remove this.
What I am asking for mainly is a way to archive categories so the site doesn't look messy.
I can answer this one, not only is it not in full screen but since you have recorded it in 480p its impossible to even make out the survivors names both in lobby and the game, The Full screen rule has been there since day one and if you can fix it and make the quality better there maybe a chance its fine.
My question is though, you say it was full screen but to edit a video, removing it out of full screen requires changes a normal edit shouldn't need. What editor was you using
Due to a change where pop ups are in patch 5.7.2 and not in previous versions this makes speedrunning this game almost impossible to get the WR and so we have archived them, If you have put a run in the past 3 weeks we will move them over and if we miss one let us know and we can move it.

Every run has the bug so all the runs are archived.
So we have just made a new Gerenator Category and in here you are asked to do Generators as quickly as possible either solo or SWF, but please note this is a KYF ONLY and not to be run in a public match.

The rules might need tweaking but we are trying to keep it as basic as possible.
So I have just had to archive all but 3 of the tutorials in the killer Tutorial category because there was a bug that is now fixed where the killer could move after kicking the gen to gain an advantage, This is twice we have had to do this recently. So in future if this is not an intended thing we might reject it.
In the current patch this is no longer possible so for that reason everyone has been moved to the archive.
yeah so in the Dead by Daylight Speedrun we are introducing Full Tutorial (4 tutorial runs in 1 sitting) but we want to make sure that people are not cutting there runs when they switch screens in order to put the best runs together.
So I want to know the best way to check if a run is legit and not spliced
I am using Vegas 15 and we have runs where the players have to go through different tutorials all in a row but I want to make sure when they submit the run its, not cut, How do I check if a run is cut or not in Vegas 15?
Yeah we really thought of this and it can make games last much much longer, We decided this was the best way to do it and no one has yet to say anything until now, I understand its not true adept but there are certain things that you cant do in adept that you can do in kill, but overall this is the best way for us.
The only way we will be able to bring it back is if we created a brand new speedrun just for mobile, We have a limited number of databases and once we reach the limited all runs disappear (we have had this happen before) and we have to remove the category we created, There are so many ideas out there of good ways people want to speed run this game and adding mobile back isn't doable in this part of the site, by all means you can get it created and mod it yourself, just contact speedrun admin team.
The mobile game is the only other platform (I think) that is seprate from all the other platforms and for the sake of less than 12 runs its not worth it.
Really, Listen, I think your write up is very compelling and you can argue and plead as much as you like, my opinion still stands, we have rules for a reason and these rules have to be maintained so everyone is in the same boat, the way you are trying to justify your run to being legitimate is not the focus of what I am trying to say, Lets just say for example, it is a legit, We are not going to spend over an hour on a run which is less than 10m long trying to work out based on BP, clothes, mathmatical equations and other things to legitimise a run, We have a lot of runs daily and we all have lives of our own. Rules are here to stay and I (for one) are not going to change the way we run the site, we have made these rules to accommodate everyone and that is not going to change because you are unhappy with the result.
You are missing the point, these rules are not just about you, we have to have rules for all players and we have to make them uniform accross the board, all the rules we have in place are there for a reason and we have learnt from experience what is required and what is not required, We have explained why we need to see the lobby before the game and not after and that will not change going forward.
I do agree that editing a save file and splicing is very hard and not really worth it for a run unless you are going for a world record run.
Either way rules are rules and we have to make them and stick to them.
