If you're going to use an emulator, for the most part they're used for TAS, and so because of that one would have to go through a lot of time to put together a TAS that might be just about as optimal as the current WR run, so because of that we ban emulators in MN. Granted, I know that most emulator runs AREN'T TAS, but the thing is that if you're going to use an emulator, the quality of the run itself just might not be as good as a physical copy or download from Steam or something, at least in my opinion. Again, can't speak for other Cars games.

All the licensed game communities (perhaps besides BFBB) are pretty much underappreciated and underrated at the same time in my opinion (nothing agains BFBB, but it's just the most popular licensed game to speedrun due to SHiFT and everything.

Getting put ahead I think is actually intended by the game's design so as to let a player have a chance to gain some speed before being overtaken after getting reset. So if you find places to do it where it's faster, do it.

The games list will be posted on April 4th.

Also, I would like to see a run of MU and see what you do to get under 25 minutes then; like I said, the runs are definitely not the best they can be, but for now they're good. I just need to really get down to it and optimize them. Before I was getting like 35 minutes on MU, then 34, then 30, then 29. Which console do you play on?

I made plenty of mistakes in all of the runs, so yeah, I think that none of them are really very optimized, but oh well. I just haven't had the time to practice with the game. I feel like if I did, that sub-25 and maybe even sub-20 would be done already. Go ahead and beat my times if you want to, I'd be glad to have some competition on these games now that we have people running them.

Alright, I guess maybe things take time. I'm still hoping for a response from one of the mods for ANYTHING I've posted, though. I'm worried that they either get too busy to do things on speedrun.com at the moment or they just left the internet for a while.

Shouldn't there be a requirement for videos for full-game runs? I can definitely understand IL's not needing videos, but for full-game it's practically a necessity.
